I booked a king size bed in a historical room. It was amazing. Gorgeous 20 foot ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom with a sky light privided space and natural lighting . I had a balcony looking onto a hisrorical landmark. Antiques everywhere adorned this quaint hotel. I felt like I was back in time 100 years. The photos on line did not do this hotel justice; here are some of mine. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

When we arrived to check in we were given a room that the bed was so worned out, we couldn't believe this room was assigned to us. My husband went to the lobby and told the receptionist and she placed us in another room that was much better, the bed was comfortable. We cant emphasize enough the need in these days that every rooms need a small refrigerator and a microwave. We appreciated the elegance of your Lobby and the very good service & good meal at the restaurant (B) at the Melia. This place, is a hotel not a motel, treat it like wise. Over all it was a good experience but we didn’t got told that it was not hot water to take a shower the elevator wasn’t working ( but was ok ) and no WiFi

I don’t know where to start . This Hotel is old and has a lot of history . First the front desks person needs to retrain in customer service . Then the elevator is antique and small only 2 person per ride, it felt unsafe made noises , we were not the only ones saying this . So we used the stairs every day. Then the 1st room the door was open , like open with the TV on and lights all on, the the door knob was broken , then we went to change the room and the front desk personal was again with an attitude to change it like she did not believe us. but she did changed it. By the way you only get one key. The second room was missing the sheets . The only personal that actually cares about the hotel is the housekeeping team they went all out to make us feel good. The hotel again is an antique hotel that needs a serious make over . It’s a great location, but this area is currently undergoing a facelift. It’s a shame that my family never felt safe while staying here.

Room floor was dirty. A/C was very noisy. The room in general was run down. Definitely overpriced. Awful experience. Will not stay here again.

Walked in and the lady was charging more for her “cheapest” room. We then walked out and booked through ******* for all in one night.!! Lady charged us and then showed us our room. We walked in and immediately smelled like old. We got the queen historical room. Nothing historical to see. Balcony was dirty with a cheap old chair. The bed sheets were also not fully clean and had some stains. old building. Not clean at all. They just want your money. We initially thought it was gonna be nice because of the renovated lobby. But this is all a disguise. Renovate the whole building 👎👎

There were people shouting and singing all night. Since there are no phones in the bedrooms, at 3am I called the hotel and the person who answered said was going to take care of that party going on on the first floor, BUT nothing changed. We couldn’t sleep.

Terrible, no hot water, the room was filthy, carpet was thick with dirt. Horrible experience.
