We are currently in room 218 and have been here a week. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean, with balcony. Tea facilities, fridge, safe, and a powerful shower. Breakfast is an ample choice. The only thing which could be better is the coffee machine, which takes too long. Best part are the staff who are very helpful. Strongly recommend. Special thanks to Sara in reception for her help.

We selected the Canadiano on the advice of a friend. I'm pleased to report that it was a very pleasant, comfortable hotel for our 6 night stay in Ponta Delgada. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were well kept. They offer complimentary breakfast for their guests. If you want to spend your days exploring, not trying to find somewhere to have breakfast, this is welcomed feature. We rented a car to explore the island and they have ample free parking. It doesn't have a great view of anything and it doesn't have a swimming pool. So if you're not planning to leave your hotel, this probably isn't the best choice. But, I can't image anyone going to Sao Miguel just to stay in the hotel - there is so much to see. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit this beautiful island.

Room was clean and very comfortable. Staff at front desk was not as customer oriented as should be. There were internet issues , our credit card we had used the previous 8 weeks would not work here. It was “our fault” . The wifi would not connect and it was the problem with our phones and IPad, and she would not even think about calling tech support until my husband got another customer to say his would not connect as well. The problem was not resolved until we were leaving the next day. Hotel was conveniently situated and we could walk everywhere. Lovely breakfast and wait staff.

Very clean hotel. The room (room 120) was also very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast they had was decent with good choices so not to eating the same thing each day. The bakery next store was a great place to grab a ham and cheese if you wanted a lunch later in the day while on the go. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.
