We have been going to hotel Molindrio for 10 years with my parents and sister and are club members. Every year has been a great experience but that all changed this year. From the beginning the reception has told us every year that we are free to use the beach at hotel Parentium and we are also able to use the white chairs to lie down. We have been doing this ever since. This year we were approached by life guards at the beach asking us why we were using the white chairs if we are not guests of hotel Parentium, because this was not allowed. We explained that we have been doing this for years and had been told by the reception that this was not a problem because we were guests at the sister hotel Molindrio. When we made the reception aware of this altercation with the life guards they first claimed that these chairs were never offerd to us by the reception and that we were lucky that we had not been caught earlier for using these chairs ( which made us feel absolutely horrible, we just did what the reception has told us for years that we could do ), after we explained that we are not lying and have been guest for 10 years and have always been using these chairs they switched up the story and told us that there is a new management and there are new rules so we cannot use these chairs at the beach anymore ( so now we are not liars but the new director has given these orders, reception could have just told us this from the start instead of making us look like liars ). So we had to lie down on the concrete. My dad has a bad back and instead if a relaxing vacation his back got even worse from lying on the hard concrete with just a towel. Absolutely disgraceful! Furthermore the food this year was of very poor quality. The fruit they served was either rotten or without taste, which left us really feeling disappointed especially because we have been coming here for years and have always been so satisfied with the food. Needless to say we will not be coming back anymore after being treated this way. We are very disappointed.

Third time at this hotel and we still LOVE it!!! It's designed for young families, to perfection. It's not cheap, but what you get are gorgeous rooms, top class service, amazing food (not repetitive, even over 2 weeks). And a kids club that is out of thir world. It's like all the fun bits of school in a safe and secure environment with highly qualified staff. We caught the road train into the town, which is also beautiful. We also did a few other activities, olive oli tasting at Cadenela and the medieval theme park, both amazing. The camp site next door has had a LOT of investment and more to come that looks very exciting. Even on a rainy day, which we had a couple in 2 weeks, there is still plenty to do. Indoor swimming is big enough to accommodate everyone. The staff and can't do enough for you, they really make this place special.
After reading previous reviews I was a little hesitant about our visit here. We have just arrived home after a lovely week in this part of Croatia. The hotel was spotless with cleaners around all day and all extremely friendly. We had a premium double room on the top floor at the end with a lovely balcony so was extremely quiet just what we wanted. The bathroom was very big with walk in shower the best we have experienced travelling abroad and a very large bath which was also used. The bed was so comfortable I wanted to bring it home with me and again on the large side. We also had coffee making facilities but never used them as there were no sachets of milk provided so chose to go out for coffee. The only real fault we could pick with the room were the chairs on the balcony which were to say the least a strange shape and very uncomfortable especially when you suffer with back problems. The breakfast in the hotel offered a wide choice but a larger range of different cereals would have been nice but that is just a minor complaint. We always found loads of sun bed available on the beach area and on the grassed area of the hotel the ones by the pool seem to have been taken very early on but that was never a problem to us as we preferred the grassed area and beach The reason I have only given this hotel 4* is it would have been nice for a little courtesy bus to run to drop you in the old town as the walk takes approx 25mins-30 mins so this option would be an added bonus. We also chose not to eat in the hotel for meals as we found them very expensive compared to array of restaurants in the town and most of the time seemed very empty such a shame as the settings of these restaurants were lovely maybe a bigger choice and a lower price would lure more residents to eat in the hotel especially if they have had a busy day exploring. All in all we had a lovely holiday here and the old town is a magical place so glad we visited

We loved this little hotel! Only six rooms, but beautifully appointed, with a wonderfully attentive staff. The room was large, the bed quite comfortable, the bathroom also large and well designed; both the bedroom and bathroom had windows that opened so as to allow a nice cross-breeze and charming views. The restaurant serves only breakfast (included with the room) and a limited lunch menu, but both were very good, and the breakfast in particular quite ample. The village is very small and quiet; for those looking for nightlife in the off-season this is not the place. But for those looking for a lovely peaceful place to get away the village, and this hotel, are ideal.

とても良い
ゲゲストIt’s a well-run, family friendly hotel, with beautiful interior in a quiet part of Zelena Laguna. Food is good, plenty to choose from, there’s a non-dress code for dinner, casual is fine. Our superior garden view room was very nice and clean. We loved to chill under the pine trees and had long walks around the beautiful area. I would recommend it.
ゲゲストWe stayed here for 11 nights. Upon arrival unfortunately the room was not available but then it was an early flight from Gatwick and we had landed at about 8:30 and got to resort at 9:30am so expected. The appar**ents that we were allocated were in a block just left of reception and down the steps. There was a handy golf buggy that was able to take us plus luggage part of the way then there was about 20 steps to go up. THERE ARE A LOT OF STEPS! so please bear in mind if you have limited mobility. Appar**ent: We had a one bedroom appar**ent. The kitchen has limited facilities: 2 ring hob and microwave, FridgeFreezer and that's it! no toaster no kettle (can get upon request). The room does have a safe and this is payable at €3 per day. The bedroom had a lovely balcony and there was also a balcony off the lounge with lovely views across the forest and towards the sea. The lounge has a large sofa dinning table and a wardrobe so in all you have two wardrobes. Towels are fresh daily but if you are like us and you don't require just leave them in view then you won't be unindated with them. Sheets you get clean sheets delivered every three days again if their not dirty why change. Bins were emptied daily. THERE IS NO CLEANING DONE BY THE CLEANING STAFF UNLESS REQUESTED AT AN EXTRA CHARGE. For us we tend to keep faily tidy so not a problem. There is an aircon unit in the lounge can be a bit noisy. POOL: No need for you to take a pool towel. You are handed a towel card when you check in and this can be exchanged for towels. Pool is freeezing! but fine once your in - its the getting in! The pool depth is from 1m35 to 1m10 so most can stand. There is a childs pool also. Remember you are self catering so you are aloud your own drinks and food etc around the pool. No glass. Resturant: Great food opens around noon. Large beer €4.50 bottle of wine €15 takeaway ice cream cone €2. Large portions, there is limit kids menu varied menu for adults. Supermarket: By reception not a great selection but handy. Supermarket at the bottom of the hill again not a great selection. These are both more expensive than the Spar in Porec Transport: The best way to get to Porec is via the tourist train. This can be picked up at the bottom of the hill by the Lito supermarket. It was €4 per person each way there is a time table in reception (take a photo). It can get a bit busy. The train also goes to the Zelena Resort definately worth a visit- lots of resturants and little coves for swimming and a few shops. Bikes can be rented from various points but can be expensive if you plan doing this each day. You can walk which is lovely through the forest takes about 35-40 minutes. Sea: Remember your watershoes as the sea is only accessible via stoney beaches or via ladders from the land edges. We enjoy'd our time here very peaceful although there is night life at the bottom of the hill and the resturant next to the pool can get quite jolly! Would recommend.
DDavid FWe are staying here at the moment having stayed at a great hotel the other side of porec multiple times (Park Resort) and the hotel in itself is not shabby or run down and has decent facilities, but is not really for people with young families. We were given a room which looks like it has come straight from the 80’s with us huge solid wood cupboards and furniture. There could be so much more space if they simply removed this and put some cheap modern furniture in like the ones in the pictures! Needless to say our room looks nothing like the pictures! You also have to pay for a fridge in this hotel too which is another €50 and is not exactly the coldest or most powerful. I asked at reception having known this from other reviews and it’s been added to my bill even though when I got there I think there was already a fridge in there and one next door where my son and mother in law are staying- they haven’t added a fridge but theirs barely works! When I said the fridge was already in there so why should I have to pay I was told that they managed to put it in the room within the minute I walked from reception to room- yeah I doubt that! Sofa bed after spending 20 min removing 10 tonne 1980 cushions and throws and dodging the huge wooden furniture is very uncomfortable. Nowhere to really store suitcases or put buggy The hotel is quite possibly the most inaccessible hotel I have ever stayed in: - there are steps EVERYWHERE and 3 tiny lifts that only go from certain level. - steps by the pool, steps to get to the lift, steps to the restaurant, steps to the bar, steps to all the other bathing and pool areasj - most of the steps are just too wide that you can’t even gradually ease the buggy up so you ok literally have to carry it all the time! - all pool areas have small amount of sun beds which by 11am are all taken and before midday the here are literally no loungers AT ALL - yet most of them are empty for hours at a time if not the whole day - there is only one route down to the sea front and to all the different pools and it’s like a rabbit warren with no simple gates or openings to allow you to move freely between the different spaces. - for example if no sun loungers and want to sit on hammocks or grass, you have to walk all the way round because there are glass divides all around except a single entrance, and you guessed it- more steps!ii There was a stuff around this hotel but not loads and everything is at least a few minute walk. The ‘mini shop’ is pathetic and has no food or drinks really and just full of ‘tat’ and it opens at random times- best off walking a bit to a half decent market. There are a few nice little pebble coves but the sea was horrible with some dirty looking film on it or something right where you would expect to take the kids in normally. Having visited another plava Laguna I wouldn’t stay here again as most of the staff are pretty miserable too compared to the normal people we have come across in previous visits to

My husband and I booked the hotel as a last minute cheap deal and on first impressions we were impressed. The hotel is in a nice setting with well tended gardens and a short walk to the seafront promenade, great if you want to lie around the pool all week but we found it too cut off. There are no local buses in the area at all and the small tourist train was 1km away and had very restricted times being early season. A taxi into porec was £20 each way. Hotel food was typical for a large tourist hotel and we always found something to eat. The bedrooms however are extremely small and very basic no storage cupboards or drawers for anything at all.the bathrooms are so small the shower door wouldn't open fully as banged into the toilet and the bathroom door couldn't open fully due to the towel rail behind it. You get bigger bathrooms on cruise ships ! The main down side was the constant stream of tourist coaches which used the hotel on a daily basis ( 8 full coaches on one particular day )which left the hotel more like a travel lodge motel and not like a relaxing away from it all holiday break. In all an OK hotel for the money we paid but not somewhere we would return to unless in a coach party.
