Ocean Marina Hotel

The property was in very poor condition. We were booked into the 3rd floor and the elevator was out of service, no one even asked if we needed assistance, one of us had a fractured arm and I have limited abilities due to a brain injury. There was no smoke detector, house phone, hair dryer, the chain lock was broken, the beds were not comfortable, the TV didn't work well, the picture was very faint. We only had one set of towels and not way to request more. There was no attendant in the hotel after 10 pm with only a phone # left for emergencies. Upon checkout someone came out but had cool reception. The hotel was overpriced for the overall condition and lack of amenities. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO EVEN MY WORST ENEMY.

Fantastic stay, Mike was instrumental in making our stay enjoyable. Close to town, clean beds Under new ownership and trying their best to make you feel home. Walking distance to parks and the river. Nice cosy area for an after hours drink inside.

Having just been taken over by new owners, and not even having a sign out front yet to identify itself, we found the Ocean Marina motel to be quiet, pretty clean and convenient to Port Alberni's downtown. Definitely worth the price all things considered.

Liked free parking Room was clean however smelled of smoke No security chain on door No telephone Coffee maker dirty and no coffee supplies in room Blinds in hall shredded Christmas decorations in hall 9/2/23 No wake up calls Very basic hotel!

It s very clean, good location, good staff, i will come again next week
