ザ プレイス ホテル(The Place at Port Aransas)

Very nice place to stay; friendly staff. Clean room with comfortable bed and soft pillows. The only issue was that our air conditioning unit would not work. Reported it to front desk and it was resolved quickly. Great experience; very satisfied; we’ll be back.

Perfect place to stay for a winter get away. It was clean, there were no issues with the room, and had free continental breakfast. I especially appreciated how nice they were to my son.

We were able to sit in the parking lot and watch the New Year's firework show that was just across the street. Sandy was very helpful as well as the rest of the staff. There were a few minor maintance issues but I told them about them when we checked out and I am sure they will be addressed.

Very nice place to stay. Comfy beds. But the front desk receptionist was the icing on the cake. Very friendly and kind.

Only wished there was an elevator for 2nd floor. However we will probably stay here again and I’ll just request first floor!!

Excellent location by the water, a city park across street good for taking a walk, a lot of restaurants around, less than 10 min driving to the miles of beach at the south side. Hotel room is very spacious and clean, will come back if I visit Port Aransas again.

Great sized room. Early check in allowed. Clean! Great off season price. Definitely will return.

We were traveling through the area on a birdwatching trip. We chose The Place for its location and price, but we were pleasantly surprised by the very spacious room and super-comfortable room. The staff was great! Gave us a couple of restaurant recommendations we really enjoyed. The breakfast was pretty basic, but everything was fresh and well-stocked, even though it was off-season. The Place was also close to the locations we wanted to visit.

Night time desk clerk was loudly playing tv or music had to call him ask him to turn off. When checking in. Check in person was not in hotel was out in street watching parade.
