Amazing. Quiet, private and excellent facilities. We had a 2 bedroom apartment that catered for a family wanting to avoid spending a fortune on eating out or takeaway meals. We cooked 5 out of 7 nights there and the kitchen facilities were fantastic. Location, cleanliness, great balcony overlooking the park, proximity to the beach and Macrossan St., the local bird life, particularly the Rainbow Lorikeets nesting over the road at night, after hours access to room key, pool, washer and dryer, dishwasher, Tony the owner, parking, comfort and well, just everything. Couldn’t ask for more for a stress free holiday. Thank you so much Tony, hope I get the opportunity to come back again.

Fantastic location. Close to beach and close to shops, but secluded enough to be a quiet location. Tony is an amazing host. We rented the balcony apartment and it was perfect for our needs. Everything is provided for a great star. Highly recommend.

We booked after being in Port Douglas back in 2022 (had stayed somewhere else), walked past the White House, and booked it for the following year while standing outside! Great location to walk easily to town, but also meticulously maintained, the gardens in particular, super friendly and helpful managers, and absolutely perfect for our toddler. The pool is heaps of fun too! We are going back next year, and cannot recommend this place enough.

My wife and I love Port Douglas, and have been regularly staying at The White House ever since Covid. The apartments there in Garrick Street run by Tony & Helen, are ideally positioned and in easy walking to both the beach and town. The apartments are quiet, and extremely well looked after and serviced. We have stayed at many accommodation spots in Port Douglas, but we still rate The White House as the best.

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely superb apartments, immaculately clean and so well maintained. Everything works, everything is there and everything is top quality in an ideal setting for a very relaxing time in Port Douglas. The location of The White House is totally unique to many other hotels. You have easy access to both the beach and town. 2-5min walk either way. Indulge and enjoy.

We were a family of 4 and we stayed in The White House Port Douglas for 3 nights during December of 2023. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom, kitchen, Washer and Dryer. One bedroom had a double/queen bed and the other had 2 single beds. There was a decent size living room, a small breakfast table. Things that are good: - Location: It is located just 1 block from the 4 mile beach. This is super convenient. - The shower and the Wash closet are in two different rooms which was very helpful for 4 of us. - The apartment was clean and updated. - The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need if you need to prepare meals. We didn't use the kitchen much but there was everything. - We had different towels for the beach and different towels for shower which was super appreciated - The check-in was very convenient. You are given a code to the safe and you take the keys from the safe and check-in to the apartment. We were able to check-in without any hassles. We also went right after the Cyclone Jasper and most of the other apartments were vacant. - There is a car park for the apartment and as there were only 2 cars it was easy to find parking. The only thing I didn't like is that we found 2 cockroaches during out stay. I hear they fly in the air and it is difficult to control them...

This was an exceptional stay at The White House. The location, facilities and staff were all top notch. We had to leave early due to Unforeseen circumstances but the staff were fantastic in helping us out. It was a shame to leave as this apartment gave us the very best experience available of Port Douglas. We will definitely be returning.

My stay at The White House Port Douglas was perfect. From the amazingly friendly hosts, gorgeous pool, quiet atmosphere and beautiful rooms - I wish I could give a higher rating. The rooms were clean and spacious with everything we could need. The hotel is situated in the perfect location, close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. I can't wait to visit again soon!

The staff at the White House were friendly and helpful. The unit was clean and beautifully situated. We were comfortable and well looked after.
