Nice place to stay for few days! Many activities to do and the staff is really cool ! Very close to te beach; the View from the restaurant is amazing You can visit the township and help for thé Kitchen soup for children !

I found the noise levels of some younger guests was a bit to much , especially during the evening .Also the younger gentleman behind the reception desk , not Ivan the other guy. He needs to seriously work on his customer and service skills ,as he is very unhelpful and sometimes comes across as very arrogant. Does not greet or nor does he give you his attention when you at the reception desk , as he is constantly on his mobile phone .

This hostel is not a place for backpackers. Staff is friendly. Hostel houses workfolk, which is fine off course but it misses the tourists or backpackersvibe. It was noisy and old. Kitchen is not well equipped and there is no breakfast. You have to rely on uber eats since its not comfortable to go out in PE at night

The staff have pleasant personalities. Great place to stay in Gqeberha, Port Elizabeth. The fact that the place is situated few Kilometers closer to the sea makes it ideal and attractive to be used as tourist destination. I will definitely coming back!

Lungile Backpackers is a great little place to stay just outside the main downtown area. It is within walking distance to restaurants, the beachfront and a quick taxi ride to the airport, downtown and other places of interest. The room was comfortable, and the main lounge area feels like you stepped into a lodge. I would absolutely stay here again.

Lungile is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are helpful the place is super clean. It is walking distance to the beach and a number of restaurants. The owner Leigh is super helpful and knowledgeable about South Africa and beyond. I booked a dorm room and was upgraded to a single which was sooooooooo nice!! Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed for one night in Lungile. There was nobody upon arrival to do the check in. Next morning we checked out and the woman who did the check out, first said that we still had to pay for the room, but the room was paid in advance, weeks before...

Every time I come to Port Elizabeth I stay at Lungile because the place is friendly, safe, secure and affordable for the budget conscious. Also easy access to public transport and the wonderful beaches at the ocean. I like walking to Boardwalk Mall for shopping, cinema and chilling
