This is a quaint hotel right on the water. Breakfast was great and Luis and Kalif are very knowledgeable and helpful. They recommended a few restaurants that were wonderful. It is great value for the money.

So the service from the staff is too notch and you can’t beat the location. Breakfast was amazing and help getting around as well. But the room we stayed in was super small, had scuffs on the walls and shower that would not drain properly. The room was super tight for two people.

We had a wonderful stay in Guest House Douro. The location is excellent and very easy to all attractions. The service team, Luisa, Hugo and Luis are the most friendly people and very helpful for every question we have asked. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Thank you, the service team , for your hospitality.

20 steps from the walk around the River Douro to board boats, eat on the water, get to metro and walk to many of the sites. It is at the bottom of the hill next to the water. Our room overlooked the water with beautiful view. Breakfast was excellent with Fruits, Juices and pastries (Fancy Continental style). The staff was enjoyable to talk to and very kind and knowledgeable. Definitely a great place to overlook Porto and walk to most of the sites.

Wowwwww! We are over the top happy with this 3 day stay. The location is is on the Douro and walking distance to all the historic attractions. Our room was stylish, immaculate and had sweeping views of Porto. We enjoyed an amazing breakfast every morning, and loved the extra details the staff provide, including room service our last morning. Highly recommend a stay here and we will absolutely return.
