i can recommend the hotel, it has a very good location, near the beach and offers great value (you get what you pay for). the staff is generally very friendly, special thanks to the gentleman looking after the pool/wellness area, and also Milena from the reception. yes, there was a few problems during my check-in, but she always remained friendly and maintained a smile , and they offered 1 night stay for my dog for free as a compensation at the end of my stay, which I thought was a nice gesture. thanks for that.

For a three star hotel by the sea one would expect to have Air Condition and a small fridge in the room - there is no AC, no fridge, the outdoor pool was closed - that wasn't clear when we booked the hotel, the croissants weren't really fresh in the morning, all the coffee machines were out of order and the hotel bar was closed, the managers weren't available because it was Sunday and the receptionist didn't know where the book of complaints was. It's my first time to write such a review, but i really thought it necessary, because it's a lie what they promote to offer. And at 11PM all the lights in the balconies go on and they are on all night which is really annoying.

Nothing except the Location

If you want loud music and people shouting to amp up their activities day and night, this is the place for you. You can hear their music and social activities blast through a megaphone up and down the beach, and even on neighboring beaches. Staff ignored requests to reduce the volume. If you want a relaxing beach holiday, stay away.

First of all check-in to this hotel (Lucija) is at 3.00PM and not at 2.00PM as it is wrongly written at your agency! I have some issues at hotel regarding your check-in time - I needed to wait one hour and half longer! The air conditioner in the room is in very poor condition as it cannot cool the room. As a result, it was very hot in the room, the room is facing west and is in the hot sun all afternoon, so we opened the balcony door in the evening to cool down a bit. But in this hotel and obviously some in this chain (as we later learned), the light at midnight is automatically lit on the balcony. And this light can't be shut down, so we couldn't turn it off and burned all night? This is crazy. I don't know who in the hotel management has invented such a foolish rule that the lights light up on the balconies at night and thus disturb the guests of hotels who sleep in the rooms? Even the floor in the room, covered with carpet, adding to higher temperatures.

I would say this is on the very average side of a three start seaside hotel. When I arrived there was a thick layer of dust on my bedside table. Throughout our stay, no visible cleaning was done, although beds were made and towels replaced. When I asked at reception about cleaning, the answer was ‘we don’t have many cleaners at the moment’. I got no response when I wrote to the hotel in follow up about this. The hotel has no parking - it is EUR 14 per day in a nearby garage, which wasn't clear when I booked. There is a pool across the road, shared with guests from other Remisens hotels. The pool was why we picked the hotel, and it is pleasant with a sea view. However, one day the pool didn't have towels, and the loungers have no cushions on them, which meant they were a little uncomfortable. The location is ideal and the setting is pleasant. It just could be so much better with effort.

We had a very nice stay. The rooms very nice and quiet and we had a big balcony. The service was brilliant as we needed one day to leave the hotel before breakfast and the hotel provided us huge picnic boxes to take with us. The shower cabin was very small.

Wir waren zum drittenmal im Lucija. Preis-Leistung ist ok. Die Zimmer sehr schön. Nur eine Anregung uzw. das Frühstück ist jeden Morgen das selbe. Etwas mehr Abwechslung und Gemüse wie Tomaten wären schön. Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich sonst eher reserviert.
