房間在positano偏高的位置 交通上很不方便 我幾乎是走上走下的 搭過一次bus 非常不準時不說 而且也沒有哪個站牌 旅行者搭他們本地bus 都不清楚自己到了哪個站。 恐怕旅遊局給外來遊客配備信息不太明確吧。 再來拿房間 酒店可能是當地人自己的房子 名宿這樣評了個星級 是個婆婆拿房間給我 找了好一陣子 見她年紀大了 我也沒說什麼 我也是剛爬山上來 一身汗! 然後他們一直問了三次有沒有信用卡 我也重複了三次 我付現金💰! 最後他們收了我100歐元押金 並且是手寫。 當我入住酒店房間 發現房內空調也是不給力 沒什麼冷風不說 他們還電力有問題 幾次突然沒電 他們也打電話進來告訴我是他們政府的問題。 我也就算了。 之後早餐他們是送進房間的 敲門✊聲音很大 也不報自己是酒店員工 還是隔壁敲錯房 。這給我一個人住帶來了困擾!並且一小時還敲了好幾次! 我也沒有投訴! 還有房間露台也是只有幾盆盆栽隔開的 非常不隔音。 這個價錢這種水準 這個地段 真的不合適👎 我退房都沒有投訴 就因為兩個老的! 非常不推薦

Scam!!!! They cancel my reservation 3 week prior my flight. No warning e mail. Nothing. Arguing a creditcard issue let me stranded with wife with no other options in posotano... Had to move to other town. Ruin my vacation. Go elswhere. No english or other language but italian.

When you arrive, use the porters to take your luggage and enjoy the 40 flights up to this roost. Views are fab, room is all you need. Reception staff is a little sketchy - immediately hit me up for cash for a “city tax” no receipt. B’fast in the room was average. Wine in the mini bar was forgettable, and when I checked out and offered to pay because the house keeping didn’t pick it up- again reception wanted another 10€ over the cost shown in the room. I declined to pay. I have had such warm hotel staff through out my travels in Europe - this was unexpected and a turn off.

We had reservations for two rooms at this hotel for 7 & 8 October 2023, which were booked and fully paid for a month in advance. Unfortunately, on 6 October, the hotel canceled one of our room reservations, citing a credit card issue. We found this confusing, as the payment had been processed successfully for both rooms. Our attempts to communicate with the hotel staff were challenging, as there was a language barrier, which made resolving the situation even more frustrating. Furthermore, our experience with the management left much to be desired. We felt that the focus was solely on monetary matters, and the treatment we received was less than hospitable. It's puzzling how this establishment has earned a four-star rating. In addition to these concerns, the hotel's location was quite inconvenient, making it necessary to spend extra money on transportation to access the beach. In summary, we had a highly unsatisfactory experience at this hotel, and if given the option, we would rate it poorly. We encountered issues with our reservation, communication, management, and location. We would strongly advise others to consider alternative accommodations when visiting Positano.

They didn’t lie about the view. That’s all I can say. All the bad reviews are true. The owners of this property extorted me when I checked out. An intimidated man and his mama run the desk. We had already a terrible experience for our entire stay. The absolute worst part was being presented a hand written bill in Italian of charges we did not make upon departure for $649. We did not make these charges at these prices nor did we sign for any of it. One charge was $100 per day parking after being told $30. Free shuttle advertised was $35. When I asked what the charges were he became angry and demanding. He started raising his voice. He had another male intimidating man who had already yelled at me to get out of the shuttle in an area not my destination previously, standing there also. There was an old lady sitting there as well. The man refused to give us our rental car unless we paid. I did pay so we could leave seeing no recourse. I was given no copy. My son asked to see the notebook the charges were written in and I was able to snap a photo. The man tried to cover it with his hand. When I paid he opened the garage and the old lady got up and got in a car they had blocking our car and they let us out. I was very shaken up by this. I feel it was criminal but saw no recourse beyond disputing the charges with Amex. First I thought I had booked a refundable res but made a mistake. I had already tried to cancel 4 months out after some other family members decided to change locations. They wouldn’t allow me to or I would lose the entire amount. My mistake but it also wasn’t last minute and seemed unreasonable. We booked a double room but got a single bed. I was traveling with my adult son. They did not have the room we booked. I was yelled at by their shuttle driver and dumped out. Breakfast is a single croissant and one cup of coffee. Every other place we stayed in Italy no matter how humble had at least a selection and no limit on pastry. We only got one key which you needed for the electricity to work but also the elevator so if my son left and took the keys for the elevator you had no electricity. If you called the desk for anything you may or may not get help or get picked up. I’ve never asked for charges back on a card. I’ve never in my entire life had an experience like this. *********** should remove this place. Now that I’ve gone back and read the bad reviews they’ve been operating this way for a long time. Avoid at all costs

The hotel has a beautiful view overseeing the beautiful coast line and town of Positano. The room with balcony was very nice. Small but good for 2 people. The room was clean and a nice size bathroom with everything you need. These are the pros. The reason for 2 stars is the unfriendliness of the manager and other front desk worker who didn’t even said hello. The manager is plain rude. The elderly female owner and her son try to be nice and at times made us feel welcome BUT we saw the side where the control comes from. There are cameras everywhere which in todays world is ok and what we live with. But even when the owner talks to you she constantly turns to watch the cameras which makes you feel watched every step. The power in the room is cut as only 2 usb chargers gave power out of the four. No power outlets near the bed so charging your phone overnight gave have the battery life after the first night. Only 2 bulbs in the light fixture out of the 5 were working. We got only one set of keys which is extremely important to know. You need one of the keys on the chain to get power and light in the room and you need the same key chain to get into/onto the elevator. So if one has to go downstairs the other one has no lights and no power and no AC and can’t get into the elevator. For breakfast which was included and served in the room where you can only eat on the balcony or have to sit on your bed as if you travel and have suitcases etc there will not be much space to use the small table. Luckily we had great weather so not an issue. But, you have to pay for eggs, fresh orange juice etc. You get one croissant per person and we ordered 2 p.p. which wasn’t listed on the breakfast order as a NO. We called the front desk 3 x and nothing came. The manager later told us 1 p.p and when I told him for a 4 star hotel for over $600 per night with another 100 euro per day for our car to park there plus local tax of 32 euro, that’s insane. The owner then explained she only orders 1 p.p per day but we were allowed the next day to get 2p.p. Giovanni, the only employee who spoke some English and offered as a courtesy to drive us to restaurants he has friends which were actually great restaurants to eat, he quit one day before we left. He was done with the rudeness of the hotel people and even taxi drivers told us “nice hotel but rude owners”. The night prior to check out and asking for the bill we were told we had to pay for the 1 mile courtesy drop offs and pick ups and they were charged at 35 euro each way while we had given Giovanni high tips for the courtesy drives. In the end through translation app I told the owner we had not agreed and not been told that there was a cost for the courtesy rides, and when we aren’t informed and therefore didn’t agree she can’t charge us. They had placed a hold on my cc for 300 euro incidentals so we will see if she still tries to charge me. The cappuccino and coffee were not best but I rate them as the worst we had in Italy

We were cancelled by hotel, $2000. stay for 3 nights cancelled one week prior to arrival date. Tried calling several times, no one spoke English, had agent from other hotel we stayed at call speaking Italian. We were told to email the hotel, and someone would respond the following morning. We emailed repeatedly, text messaged, voice mail, no response. ******* was no help as well. TOTAL LACK OF INTEREST, STRONGLY URGE YOU TO FIND OTHER ACCOMODATIONS. Spent 2 days trying to resolve issue, very frustrating. Check reviews and you will find several similar complaints from other travelers.

Did not get the rooms we booked. Booked two deluxe sea view rooms and received one family room, with only one bathroom to share between 4 adults. The hotel gave one of our rooms to other people. Also rooms not cleaned properly. They charged euros 240 to garage the car for two nights. Most unhappy.

They cancelled my reservation 5 days out with no call or email to warn before doing so. Reason was “invalid credit card” which makes no sense. I’m guessing they overbooked or gave my room up for a higher price. Don’t make the same mistake I did and listen to the other reviews. Otherwise you might be scrambling to find another hotel last minute.

We traveled from Sorrento to this hotel in Positano. We were advised by the owner upon arrival that our reservation was cancelled. We booked and PAID for our reservation months ago. We called ******* and they confirmed that our reservation was NOT cancelled. The owner continued to insist there were no rooms available, leaving us to find a last minute hotel and walk / carry bags of luggage down the busy street in Positano. THIS HOTEL MUST BE SHUT DOWN!!!

Dear ******* Customer Support, I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding my recent stay at the Palazzo Marzoli Resort in Positano, which I booked through *******. My stay at Palazzo Marzoli Resort has been far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my experience with you. I have had the opportunity to stay in over a hundred hotels throughout my travels, but this one stands out as the worst in terms of service, functionality, and comfort. Upon my arrival at the hotel, I was met with a rather unsettling demand from what appeared to be the owner. He insisted that I pay the city tax in cash, and cash only, which I found to be highly unethical. In contrast, the other five hotels I stayed at during my Italy trip allowed me to settle such charges at checkout using a credit card. This demand for cash left me with a sense of discomfort and unease. The issues did not end there. Upon entering my room, it became immediately apparent that the air conditioning was barely functional. It would operate for a mere five minutes before shutting off. Given the scorching temperatures in Positano, this has made it incredibly difficult for my girlfriend and me to get a good night's sleep. Our request for a fan was met with an unhelpful response, stating that it was not possible. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!! This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. We thought we were getting a reasonable deal on a room for a night, only to arrive and they charge an additional €150 per person to stay in the room (it was me and my boyfriend staying). And they also charge you €180 use their parking garage. ALL JUST FOR 1 NIGHT. None of which they tell you prior to booking. The staff is not helpful, pretended like they don't speak English, and would not refund us the parking garage fee when we requested to get our car out to park somewhere else instead 10 minutes later. OH and the beds are so uncomfortable... literally outdated box spring mattresses. 100% the WORST hotel and worst experience and worst management.
