Room was quiet, clean, I was able to check in early, the employees are SUPER friendly, everything about the location was fantastic. It's also an excellent value for the money, I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. 11/10

Staff are great, the property is cozy and convenient. Beds are comfy and the room is very clean, There was a mini fridge, hair dryer and a tele, internet is challenging when being in the room but fast in the dining area

When I arrived at night I was told that my payment had been rejected (even though I hadn't received any notice of this) and that if I wanted a room I would have to pay $353 (the room rate quoted was 126€) in cash or with another card. Since I didn't want to be extorted I left and had to find another hotel in rural PA to spend the night. As a woman travelling alone this was not a pleasant experience and I believe ********** should remove this property from their listings for this unethical behavior.

In town for a party. Lodge location was perfect - staff was very friendly; rates were good. Room was clean. No complaints.

Very nice, amazing atmosphere! rooms are comfy and modern but the outside keeps that oldschool tavern feel, very cool place!

Our family group of 10 made a reservation for dinner about 4 hours before the reservation time of 6:30. It took an hour and a half to get the first 2 orders and 3 hours to get the last 3 orders. The waitresses were apologetic but said they would be fired if they said anything to "the kitchen". After 4 1/2 hours, our last meal was finished and we requested a discussion with the owner, who turned out to be the cook. The service was horrible and the food was average at best. We confronted the owner with our dissatisfaction and told the owner that we didn't intend to pay the bill. He threatened to put a wheel lock on our car. To say that this guy is an a-hole would be a complement. Sadly, the waitresses were stuck in the middle and were visibly upset and apparently negotiated an offer to reduce our bill by the cost of seversl dinners. We finally left, 4 1/2 hours after arriving. It was a miserable experience with an owner who had low regard for customer satisfaction. This is evidenced by the fact that he offered no apolpgy for our long wait and was an a-hole when we complained. I've been in all sorts of restaurants all over the world and never had an experience close to this. I will never go there again and strongly suggest that the readers of this review do the same.

Very freindöy straff, good food, lovely porch. Conveniently located from our kids camp.

My stay was not that bad for one night. It was a bed and breakfast type of place very homely and older. You could hear everything going on through the lodge which made it difficult to sleep. Very convient spot off the main road.
