テヌタ カ ゼン(Tenuta Ca' Zen)

We visited Ca Zen as part of our river barge trip. The hostess, Maria, treated us like family. The dinner was delicious and the property was gorgeous! Visitors can stay there and it looked to be a very special place!

An authentic experience of living in an aristocratic chateau which is still run by its original owners far from being a soulless corporate hotel like all the rest. It's a place where several generations of the same family still live together, taking care of their beautiful property, their chapel, their stables and their farm in the heart of the Po Delta. A perfect and charming location to explore the natural wonders of the delta and visit the rich culture of the famous nearby historic cities like Ravenna, Venice, Verona, Padua and Ferrara. I stayed in Ca'Zen with my wife and son for a few days this August - we loved the beautiful local food, the swimming pool and the abundance of nature in this place, Ca'Zen, which truly has a soul.

Recently visited the wonderful Tenuta CaZen with my 78 year old father. From start to finish the stay was impeccable. From the excellent and friendly staff to the amazing scenery both in CaZen and in surrounding areas. The stay had a strong family feel about it, the owners being very attentive to their guests and very much want their guests to enjoy the stay. If visiting I strongly recommend a cycle by the Po (ask the staff about bicycles) or a drive to nearby Chioggia. Can't wait to return!

The first thing that strikes you at Ca'Zen is its peaceful location. Situated beside the wonderful river Po, but separated by a road embankment that brings you into Taglio di Po in two minutes by car (or fifteen by bicycle), its serenity is all-embracing. Sitting outside with a glass or a good book, there is nothing to be heard but the songs of the birds and the sounds of distant farming. A seventeenth century villa, the rooms are tastefully furnished with comfortable antique furniture. The bedrooms are large, welcoming and bright, with views of the gardens which are framed by cypress trees and, beyond them, the flat rich agricultural land of the Veneto. Towns within an hour's drive are steeped in history. The charming owners, who will advise you how best to enjoy your stay, grow their own wine and bake their own bread. For a peaceful, relaxed stay, this house is unbeatable.

Purtroppo siamo dovuti venire via a mezzanotte perché uscivano cimici da ogni dove. Ne avremo ucciso un centinaio prima di gettare la spugna. Ci hanno offerto di cambiare camera ma ormai era così tardi e la nuova camere doveva comunque essere riscaldata e preparata, senza nessuna garanzia che avremo trovato la stessa situazione anche dall’altra parte. Peccato. Non ci è stata rimborsata la camera ma ci hanno offerto un voucher. Ad aprile abbiamo deciso di usare il voucher per un pranzo, avevamo prenotato per le 12.30. Abbiamo fatto un bellissimo giro in barca la mattina ma purtroppo la guida ci ha detto che non avremo finito prima delle 13.30 e allora abbiamo chiamato per spostare il pranzo a più tardi ma ci hanno fatto sentire talmente a disagio dicendo che era tardi, dovevano far rimanere il personale solo per noi ecc. che abbiamo preferito cancellare del tutto. Veramente sul fronte accoglienza, chi ha risposto al telefono in ambedue le occasioni, avrebbe molto da imparare. A noi è dispiaciuto molto per entrambe le occasioni perse. Sicuramente non ci torneremo e non lo raccomanderemo ai nostri familiari e amici.

Discreto hotel nel delta del Po, con a**osfera molto famigliare, ma con molti dettagli da migliorare, come la colazione che viene servita alla carta dopo abbastanza lunghe attese, con alcune voci non sempre disponibili, vedi lo yogurt, la mancanza di qualche coccola in più in camera, come la bottiglia d’acqua per la notte, presente solo il primo giorno e prodotti da bagno contati, se si fa doccia mattina e sera non bastano e di non alta qualità. Prezzo piuttosto elevato per ciò che viene dato, ma penso comprenda l’a**osfera della villa che non ha prezzo!

Ho trascorso le vacanze di Pasqua con i miei bambini presso la Tenuta Ca Zen, la location è unica e suggestiva, il parco ben curato , gli interni della casa stupiscono in ogni angolo per i preziosi cimeli, pezzi storici, i camini e i mobili antichi. La posizione è ottima per visitare molte attrazioni del Delta de PO. Il personale fantastico ci ha coccolato con gentilezza e simpatia. Un grazie speciale a Silvia che ha organizzato con precisione le nostre escursioni dandoci preziosi consigli e a Stefano che con la sua bravura si è preso cura di noi viziandosi dalla colazione alla cena. Tenuta Ca Zen è un luogo suggestivo e carico di fascino dove varrebbe sicuramente la pena tornare. Rossana

Meravigliosa sorpresa nel cuore del Parco Regionale del Delta del Po. Bellissima la scuderia, antica di almeno 100 anni con cavalli di otyimo lignaggio dediti all'equitazione di campagna. Se sei un cavalier esperto ci sono fantastici giri a cavallo. Puoi anche portare il tuo cavallo; c'è qnche un campo ostacoli dive allenarsi e riscldare il cavallo prima dell'uscita. Andateci prima che potete anche in autunno e inverno.
