Galápagos Casa Playa Mann

Stayed a couple of nights recently and loved the place. Near everything but away from the noise. Breakfast was great and fresh. Jose helped us plan things and arranged a driver to take us to the Highlands. Rooms are clean, wifi works well. Would loved to have stayed longer.

So many great reviews I don’t know what to say that hasn’t already been said. Firstly let me reiterate how wonderful ALL the team are. Friendly, helpful and caring. The Casa had a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. It’s so in keeping with the wonderful experience of the island. Really is just a minute from the beach and 5 mins from town. Loved the breakfast prepared with care and wonderful fresh quality produce. We enjoyed chatting to Jose, Marianna and Lu. Loved being welcomed back each day after our days events. We really do hope to return to these wonderful islands and this special Casa would be a definite place to return to.

Wow, Wow, and more Wow! Loved this family run hotel. They go above and beyond to take care of their guests. Rooms are spacious and clean with AC and internet. Breakfast was delicious and they even made a box breakfast to go for our last morning. We used the affordable laundry service. Great location for beach, board walk, and restaurants. I accidentally forgot an item and they literally ran to the ferry to hand to me while I was boarding! Highly recommend!

We stayed in Casa Playa Mann for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Three of us shared a room with a spacious balcony with amazing views to the sea. The location is excellent the beach is across the road and the town a few minutes walk. We were greeted with a welcoming homemade juice and snack by Jose who helped us with recommendations for restaurants and trips. The breakfast prepared by Jose was delicious and Marianna was on hand at all times to help us with any queries. They were both so hospitable to us and made us feel very much at home.

We are so thankful for our excellent time at the beautiful Playa Mann Hotel it was perfection! This family run gem met all our expectations and more. Jose, Carolina, Lucia, Mariana and all staff made us feel welcome and at home from the moment of arrival! The attentive and kind service, cozy rooms and grounds, and amazing breakfasts are true Ecuadorian style. We loved being near the National Park with gorgeous beaches, trails, close to nature, birds and sea lions galore. It was very peaceful and quiet~ this family has created an oasis in San Cristobal island. You will not be disappointed! We wish many years of continued success!

A family-run hotel 5-10 minutes walk from the town seafront. Very welcoming, attentive to our needs and lovely attention to detail - chilled drinks on arrival, great explanations of tours and restaurants and what was available, list of restaurants, umbrellas (very necessary when we were there). Breakfast included and was very good and José and his family were charming hosts. It was so much nicer staying in a local family-run hotel than a big impersonal one. Would strongly recommend and would visit again.

The Casa Playa Mann was the last stop for our three island land based tour of the Galapagos, and truly an amazing experience. The staff of this family owned business was warm and friendly, and full of great information about the island. Restaurant and activity recommendations, and information about the island were spot on. Our room was extremely nice, very clean, spacious, and with all the amenities that a traveler could want. The view from our balcony was amazing, and breakfast was delicious. Our thanks to Jose, Lucia and all the staff for their hospitality and making us feel like family. We hope return to the Galapagos, and this time Casa Playa Mann will be our first and last stop.

Simply an awesome place to stay...the accommodations were fantastic...however, the hospitality was even better at this family run casa! We couldn't have asked for a nicer stay on San Cristobal Island...the breakfast was delicious and the arranged trips adventurous....we will be back!!

Our time at this hotel was short, but probably the most memorable out of all the hotels we stayed at during our Galapagos trip. This hotel is top tier - the rooms are pristine, the ocean view is outstanding, the front courtyard and breakfast area is cute, breakfast was delicious and the service was better than anywhere I have ever been. The family that operates Casa Playa Mann welcomes all guests with open arms as if you are part of their family and this really makes a difference. I felt like I made genuine friends during our short 2 days there. The only sad thing about our entire trip was that I wish I could have spent more time here! Also - this hotel is located in an ideal area and it was very easy to walk to town or head out towards the beach.
