For the price it’s good for kids. Club only open Saturday and Sunday. The food it’s 7pm if the run out that is it. I will not go again we on vacation so we want some fun activities in the hotel to do. But don’t take me wrong if you go with little kids yes good place. But the age 18 to 55 and you want some fun not the place

We purchased a Platinum stay for my 50th birthday and did not receive none of the benefits except when we would walk in the platinum room to get top shelf drinks. We were told that we would have 2 butlers- we only saw a butler once during our 5 day stay. He would call us and would reassure that if we needed anything - not to hesitate to ask him but - when we did- he was missing in action or we would hear back from him hours later. I was promised a birthday cake and never got one. When my son asked why didn’t we get the cake- we were told they were out of cakes. My mother was sick while there and we ordered room service for her meals which would take about an hour if not longer to get them . On a positive note:The wait staff at the Buffets were exceptional and friendly. Overall- I would probably go back ( because 2 years ago- I had the most amazing experience at Ventus and this time around- the last day there made up for the bad experience- Lastly-Our last day- I found a bunch of balloons - the butler came in my room to decorate it for my birthday. He left a bottle of champagne and snacks - which was a thoughtful gesture.

Internet has to pay $16 USD per day, most of people come with 7days and very slow, can't watch YouTube. Even on holiday someone has to work briefly so frustrated and annoyed by internet connections Internet isn't luxury items where we live now, essential. has to go to another resort to do my work one day even I paid for the internet. So bad, asking me join the membership? no thanks

Beautiful resort. Very clean. Great food and restaurant options that weren't the same as the buffet. Staff were super nice and helpful. Many activities everyday throughout the day for adults and children of all ages. Only flaw is the beach is very small and shallow which I saw in previous reviews but they make up for it with the many pools and jaccuzzis they have.

I love this resort. This is our 2nd visit here. The service, food, restaurant choices, activities and shows are all good. The rooms are large. The only negative is if you want to swim in the ocean. The resort is having beach erosion issues and have 2 manmade sand bars set up in the ocean. Visually not as appealing, but you can still swim. Better spot to swim is to head all the left on the edge of Ventus when looking at the ocean. They work endlessly trying to remove sea****. Overall, it is a great resort and I would come back. I love that you have access to all 3 resorts. The Ruf on Ventus Ha is a big plus!!!

We booked this on major sale last minute and WOW! It more than exceeded our expectations! The resort was absolutely gorgeous with views of the ocean, the landscaping, breathtaking pools, and the serene buildings. The resort is easily walkable, but if you are going a bit further, it’s fairly easy to catch a golf cart ride. The room was decent size, very clean, and we had a partial ocean view that was so beautiful. The amenities were above and beyond the usual all inclusives we have visited before. The shows were well done, the activities around the pool and resort amusing, and the FOOD! SO good! Kobo is a must. The French restaurant, the duck was superb! The beef fillet at the Italian place was equally divine. The staff were all friendly and helpful, always with a genuine smile. Huge shoutout to the kids club too. My son has tried several before but wasn’t really into it so didn’t stay long, we had to make him leave because he wanted to stay all day! They take the kids all over the resort and have them do fun things like bounce houses, bouncing water jets in the pool, water balloon fights and magic shows, so incredible! The only thing I should mention, they most certainly accept and EXPECT tips, so bring lots of cash. Jars/buckets/boxes/envelopes asking for tips are everywhere and the servers even ask if you liked their meal to please consider tipping and hold their chefs hat out to collect. I ran out of cash very quickly as I wasn’t expecting to tip so often, so heads up!

I have lost track of how many times we have stayed at Marina El Cid. 10/10 recommend! Clean property, safe, wonderful staff.

We liked most things associated with this resort. We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon, after getting checked in, we went to make dinner reservations and we were told that there were no reservations until 9pm on Saturday. Frustrated, I pleaded with her and said that we only just arrived, what was i to do, she stated that Mon, people line up and book for the week. Well, she did end up getting us dinner for Friday, sat, and sun after some time. Every night we would walk the grounds and often by these restaurants and there were always tables open. the times we went to dinner, open tables. I would suggest that they do a reservation and FCFS option to accommodate this and those that arrive other than Monday morning 8 am. We missed out on several restaurants because of this. the ones we did get to go to, we were very satisfied with all areas including staff, food, and facilities. The last comment i will make is the beach is extremely lacking. very few chair options, The double sand bag barricades are necessesary to prevent whats left of the beach, but if your searcg prioritizes a good beach, this is not your resort. nevertheless, we went to other areas to enjoy the sand and ocean. Overall I rate this resort 4.5 out of 5. I really did enjoy it and would recommend it.
