Terrible experience, had to wait for beach towels for an hour. Only one restaurant open at a time, regular food, bad service. The room had one "king sized" bed, which would become 2 twins while you sleep. The show at nights very poor. Do not go there

Great Vacation ! The daily entertainment team makes everyone feel welcomed, Fernando hosted our group in many activities from morning to night with a big smile. The bar tender remembers your drinks and keeps your cup full. All the meals have a good variety and flavor and freshness. Be back in 2024 or sooner !

I hope my review is informative and useful to both potential visitors and to the management at the resort. First off, I traveled with my wife and two children (13 and 10). We primarily chose this resort for it's spacious room layouts. We had a 3 bdrm/2 full bath suite with a "jacuzzi", full kitchen, living room, washer/dryer as well as a patio. The living room and "master" bedroom open up to the patio directly. You will be hard pressed to find something this large at this price point. One minor inconvenience was the layout of the bedrooms. I requested one King and two Queen beds which they accomodated. However, the King bed was not in the "master" bedroom which had the larger bathroom. The reviews for this resort have been, for the most part, 4/5. And many of the issues others experienced included beach/pool towels, lack of activities/entertainment, available restaurants, etc. Here's a rundown on my experience. You will receive a blue towel for each registered guest. The towels should be in your room or you will be given a card to redeem at the front desk for each towel. You may "exchange" dirty towels for clean towels at the front desk (subject to availability). If all else fails, wash your own towels in your room. There is a tiny store across the street from the resort that sells laundry detergent. The resort did have a few activities like corn hole and horseshoes during the day. They also had a entertainment most nights including a Dominican Night, Fire show, Michael Jackson impersonator, and karaoke. Be sure to ask the front desk about what they will doing each day as they do a poor job of communicating things to the guests. The main restaurant is buffet style and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Mediterranean and Asian restaurants are only open a couple of nights a week and require reservations. However, the menu is extremely limited. The Blue Wave is the only other a le carte option (RBG wasn't open while we were there). The resort has two bars, Blue Agave (by the lobby) and Blue Wave (by the beach). Ask for Dorling at Blue Agave and Henry at Blue Wave! The pool is nice and relaxing with plenty of chairs. The only downside is they do close it for cleaning at 7pm. The layout of resort is great. This was another huge plus for us as we did not have to walk very far for anything. The beach area also has plenty of chairs as well as comfortable cabanas. There is sea****. However, the staff work throughout the day to keep most of the sea**** cleaned up. FYI...there is a little hut on the beach next door at Serenades Resort that will let you take out kayaks for a small refunable deposit. We also boked our excursions through Domex which you can find in the lobby. Overall, the Radisson Blu was fine. Now here comes the but...This was a trip to celebrate my 15th wedding anniversary. I reached out to the resort a week ahead of our arrival to make a few small requests like early check-in (if available). I mentioned to the person I spoke

Travelled with another family and really liked the space the suites provided. Spa services were excellent- dealing with Jonathan was easy and services were reasonable and a good value. Ruben at beach bar was wonderful! Jesus and Kimberly in activities were some of the most welcoming and friendly people. Really wanted to get everyone involved. Housekeeping did a great job. Coffee bar was wonderful! One drawback was the towel situation. There were never enough beach or regular towels. I just washed myself in the end.

Service was top notch, peaceful resort with no crazy partying. Exactly what we wanted. Breakfast had a large selection each day and wait staff was very friendly. The beach could be a little cleaner, but it didn't detract from our stay. The pool was pristine. Would definitely return!

Nice, friendly stuff. The food was very really delicious and I’m happy with the service as well as the hotel room was really clean. The overall service of the staff was great and everybody was really friendly. Hotel was modern and it’s an overall great experience and I would definitely recommend coming here again.

Please, DO NOT BOOK a stay AT THIS RESORT. Consider yourself warned! If you do, you will have only yourself to blame. The pictures online are beautiful and the website posts a lot of amenities and restaurants. There were no such cooking classes and the staff will tell you they know nothing about it (despite it being on the website). There is NO nighttime entertainment. Unless you consider the one night out of five, they provide entertainment (That was only because 2 bus loads of locals came for a few days) When they leave the food and selection will go back to bare basics. Forget the multiple restaurants posted on the website. One restaurant is open per night. You eat dinner at that one restaurant, or you do not eat dinner. The food selection was less than hot. Speaking of hot, I hope you like room-temperature food. Service: 1 Star A point for the efforts of a few, but there's too much to say on the subject. They will tell you a nice line, but you won't get any action. Rooms: 0 Stars In your suite, there is a beautiful kitchen (great for the website pictures). But there will be no pots, pans, plates, forks, spoons, dish soap, hand rags,s or anything! And no, you cannot have any delivered to the room or request. No, you cannot get some from the resort's kitchen. If you have stuff in the room, make it usable! Cleanness: 5 Stars The rooms and property were clean Nearby activities: 1 Stars Not much except the mall Safety: 0 Stars There is a beautiful view out the window, but check your glass sliding door in the back. They all don't lock! Walkability: 0 Stars There's not much of anything to do nearby. This is a shame because there's not much to do at the resort. Food & drinks: 1 Stars There's way too much to say here! You MIGHT eat well one night if there are a lot of people in the resort that weekend. In summary, bring your snacks!

Had a wonderful time in DR, the resort was quite the first 2 days and only 2 resturants were open but food selection is amazing. People are always smiling and friendly even when they work 16hr days 7 days a week. Once Friday hit, the resort became very lively. This is their slow season so it's understood. Entertainment was fun, Fernando has an infectious positive energy and knows how to engage the guests. Kimberly is great with engaging the kids. You might have to ask for specific services but they have no problem providing it, such us fill the Jacuzzi or the fridge. The condo had its own washer and dryer but bring your detergent.

Very spacious room, unbelievable big balconi with chairs, lounge chairs and jacuzzi ( wood around jacuzzi needs some renovation). Pool area very good, gym well equipped, good food. Staff is absolutely fantastic, very friendly and helpful. I did not like much the area where the hotel is located because you can’t walk outside the property but I recommend this hotel for your next vacation. Excellent value for money
