Since January of this year, I have been trying to get a response directly from Hyatt Sunscape Resort, but they have not been responding appropriately to my requests. As a Hyatt Globalist member, I find this frustrating. I feel I’m being forced to write a review in hopes that this will prompt a proper response from Hyatt. 1.- Despite the upgrade, room 1139 did not align with the promised amenities, specifically an Ocean View, severely affecting our experience. 2.- Our room was outdated, muggy, and humid. TV service was absent for the initial two days due to missing batteries, and other room features malfunctioning, indicating potential neglect since the hotel's takeover by Hyatt. 3.- Lack of cleanliness, a flooding incident due to a clogged toilet, and the use of our bathroom towels during repairs left us with one towel for the remainder of our stay. 4.- Internet service interruptions and the absence of hot water during our last days were highly inconvenient. 5.- The inconsistency of the hotel app services, notably slow restaurant service, and frequent errors in our food orders significantly affected our dining experiences. Furthermore, encountering a bartender unfamiliar with Chardonnay raised concerns regarding the staff's knowledge and training. 6.- We upgraded to an Adult Club Level room but there were children in the adult pool and families with small children in adults-only areas compromised the intended ambiance and tranquility. 7.- Breakfast buffet service at Kaleidoscope was substandard. Despite the hotel not being fully occupied, we encountered extended waiting times to receive coffee and drinks. Additionally, the available choices for fresh natural juices were notably limited, contributing to the poor service quality experienced. 8.- Inconsistent Restaurant Operations: Erratic restaurant opening hours, unexpected closures, and the unexpected requirement of reservations at Tierra restaurant disrupted our dining plans. Specialty restaurants like Chopstick and Blue Water Grill were never available during our stay. 9.- The New Year's celebration was enjoyable; however, it was evident that the hotel was understaffed. The sight of numerous dirty glasses and dishes at the main bar by the pool detracted from the overall experience. 10.- Regardless of the upgrading for exclusive access, additional charges were imposed for available beach beds. 11.- Access to the adults-only area, especially to the Club room, seemed open to all guests, even those who hadn't paid for the privilege. This information appears widespread online, with suggestions that upgrading isn't necessary as everyone can access the facilities regardless of their payment or reservation details. 12.- Despite my eligibility based on Hyatt status, the denial of a late check-out, accompanied by a fee demand, was disappointing. It is crucial to note that these challenges occurred consistently throughout our 6-night/7 day stay, not just during 2 days. Considering the cumulative impact
