Hotel Shree Jagannath (Sea Facing)

Experience of rooms is bad. First allotted room had defective AC, Tea kettle. Staff tried to maintain AC till midnight keeping us awake without success. On day two after too much of persuasion the room was changed, but here intercom was not working. To place "Room service" orders I had to walk to reception and then place order thru' them. It's must to mention that staff is very cooperative. Best part and star of the property is their restaurant, where they serve with affection and dedication, take care of even special needs like "Jain food". They are always smiling and pleasing. All the best.

Great location, reasonable facilities, not great in ambience or service. The hotel is right on the sea front, which is great for going to the beach at all times. There are a number of shops close by, and the temple is also nearby. Decent stay, but v costly for the amenities

Just completed 7 days , Wonderful experience ,service is very good. cost of foods are reasonable. Management people are very helpful. Best Hotel for middle class People। Specially mentioned Mr Manoj Phan, he is very helpful

Stayed at their "Maharaja Suite", so may put my review of that only. Was boasted by their reception staff while booking that it was the chosen one for the current TV and movie celebrities, hence decided to book it straightaway. On the positive side, food is decent, if you ask for Bengali foods. But then for mutton dishes you have to order early. I asked for it and was refused. Parking area is small, fit only for two or three cars. AC unit is of standing pedestal type, with vents difficult to control. My bed at my home is much spacious than was provided. Water accumulates in bathroom walk in shower. Toilet kit consists of only a commonly available one rupee pouch shampoo and a small one rupee soap. No dental kit, moisturizer, shaving accessory or shower gel. And remember, when you are checking out, you are expected & have to tip separately to the dining room attendant, the bellboys, the sweeper and the security guards, so please act wisely.

To see the heavy shower especially during Monsoon from the Balcony of this Hotel is amazing. And most importantly that you can enjoy the view of Sea beach from their Balcony even during the rainy season. 2nd Floor Road Side rooms are the best.

Worst hotel and worst service. I would not advice this hotel to stay if you are coming with family. Not adults friendly. The room stinks and the receptionist talks very rudely and are not resolving any concern. The towels were not washed ,it seems used towels were provided without washing. Pathetic service and environment.
