Loved the room, bathrooms are extra cool with Rain showers and sitting areas. The staff was lovely and four course meals on full board are impressive. Daughter loved the water park and also the songs the live band sang for her. Overall if you're looking for a quite family outing, this is a top choice.

We have just left Wattura Resort after an amazing 5 days relaxation to recover from a siteseeing tour of much of the island. We chose the hotel for tranquility and also the spa and it excelled at both. The staff are all amazing, attentive and above all else friendly. I must mention Thilanka, Anne and Prabod who were so friendly as we checked out it made it even harder to leave than it already was! The spa was well used by my wife who found their treatments excellent and most helpful for some pains she had been suffering with, as well as getting valuable advice for the future treatment too. Not many hotel make me feel that I will return again, but this is definitely one of them. Thank you for an unforgettable stay

Great resort style hotel. Relaxing entertainment.great location with Beach and river access. Closer to the international airport. Lots of activities for the kids and family. If you’re staying here make sure you try kayaking along the river. Experience beautiful Sri Lankan hospitality and food. Specially one of the hotels with best Sri Lankan food.

Had an excellent few days with family at the watura residencies. It's located in a unique setting with the river on one side and the ocean on the other. True boutique experience with nice friendly staff. We did Kayaking with an experienced guide which was great too. Kids loved it too. Chamindu who was assigned to us was exceptional too. Definitely recommend to friends and family.

This place is something unique and special.Very beggining you can feel the peace and relax in its atsmosphere. The architecter is very talented & start of the 12-days Sri Lanka journey was unforgettable Besides, all the staff make you feel like a royal prince, always respectful and helpful. Special mention to prabod, Saku and ann who were with us those fantastic two days.We don't have to go to the reception. As soon as they see us, they run towards us Finally, restaurant was very unique & the food is excelent 👍. You can not ask any more for your holidays.

Wathura - water in sinhala. This place is a very convenient drive from colombo , a good staycation! Property is good if you're looking for a peaceful and calm retreat , although a boutique hotel I wouldn't call it luxurious for the price range it falls in. Rooms and the common areas are just about ordinary in comparison. Definitely feel it's overpriced! A small nook for the kids , the water slides were very entertaining for the kids and they also had a few arcade games to keep them happy. More hotels should do this. The food was good, however a very small range. We also made a few requests to the chef which were done well. Very accomodating and friendly staff.

We had an exceptional stay at Wattura Resort. Its great for a family stay esp with all the kids entertainment.. The level of service and guest attention was very high especially by Chamidu - who made our stay memorable Would gladly recommend Wattura

The Pappali restaurant staff has been amazing. Their service was beyond expectation. Special thanks to Tharaka, Yasas & Chamidu. Overall we are happy with the our stay at Wattura Resort & Spa. There are couple of recommendations to for service level improvements in my opinion. - When we arrived at the property, the security asked ‘why’ instead of the greeting we usually received at other resorts. This is probably because of the method of our transport. :) We were on a motorbike and the security might have mistaken for us for someone else. - The rooms were very hot even the AC was on and there was something wrong with the AC. When we complained to the reception, the receptionist has asked us to wait for one hour and the room will be cooler within that period. I did insist that this was not the case and the there seems to be something wrong with the AC. Finally after some time, the technician fixed the issue and room was cooler than before.

One of the best hotels in Srilanka. We were warmly welcomed to the hotel by the friendly staff. We stayed at the suit room and it was amazing!! Spacious, very beautiful and all amenities you need included. Food was ok.Specially should metion the three ladies who never hesitate to help with a smile who will never.Overall,we had fantastic stay!
