I don't recommend the hotel, the swimming pools both are dirty lots of insects in the water, the jacuzzi cold water n dirty too. One can hear lots of noises at night if you are lucky you won't get those rooms it looks like mauritians who get those noisy room as at night you can hear the noise of air con or pump water machine. If you take some dried grapes after breakfast to eat in the terrace you will be told not to take where as I have seen other guests took plate of food. They don't give tea or coffee in the bedrooms but just kettle n cups. The only good thing is the room is clean but they won't clean it everyday. They put very few food for breakfast one can count 15 pieces on the plate and when finished they will replenished it. I didn't feel comfortable during my stay as while I eat my breakfast I can feel them monitoring me. The pictures of the pools have deceived me and my family. More customer service are needed in this place too. The only person who helped me was sanjeev for lifting my luggage when I came to the rooms. I did ask if they serve food at night they said no but I saw guests eating at night and every night I have to take my parents to eat in restaurants which is far from the beach. They do give shuttle car but on some hours and I had to take taxi sometimes.
I can't emphasize enough how frustrating and disappointing my stay at Anelia Resort and Spa was. The water activities that were advertised? Completely unavailable. We specifically planned our vacation around these, only to find out they didn’t exist. It’s the definition of false advertising. To make matters worse, our room was inconveniently far from the main hotel facilities. We had to walk a long distance just to access basic amenities, which is unacceptable. And to top it off, the room lacked basic essentials like hand towels and slippers. How does a hotel at this price point miss such fundamental items? As if that wasn’t enough, they didn’t even provide a dental kit. It’s shocking that a resort could overlook such simple hospitality basics. But the biggest disappointment of all? The cocktails were terrible! For a resort experience, we expected quality drinks, but they were poorly made and really let us down. This place is a complete letdown, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Stay far away unless you want your vacation ruined!
We have just returned from an 11 night stay at the Maradiva. The quality of food, cleanliness of the accommodation and beautiful gardens was exceptional. However, it is the welcome and friendly service you receive from Maradiva that makes it so special. Always greeted by your name, everyone we met always strived to make our stay as perfect as it could be. We would like to express our gratitude to all the staff at Maradiva who are a credit to the hotel. Special mention to the butler staff (Ash, Aki and Dinesh) who were always on hand to help with restaurant bookings and organising trips and activities. Also, to Favour and Joeanne in housekeeping who made sure our accommodation was spotless and cleaned every day. Sam and Oliver at the boathouse for a magical dolphin trip! Hisha at breakfast who always served us with a smile and not forgetting Veen and the beach team for their attentiveness. Thanks also to Dinesh and his team at the beach grill! Finally, thanks to the management team (especially Bertrand and Vincent) who took the time to chat with us at various times throughout our stay, which, to us just highlights how the hotel endeavours to achieve that personal touch. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in paradise, next to a fabulous beach with 5-star service, food and amenities, then the Maradiva pretty much fits the bill. It will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
We went to the sky12 Lounge Restaurant to celebrate the retirement of one of our colleague and we spent a very nice time there. The buffet lunch was awesome and I would like to thank the Hotel Manager Mrs Ramlochun and all his team namely Mr Bruno, Mrs Francoise, Mrs Aneela and Miss Azeghie for their wonderful service. All the staffs were very satisfied and we will surely go there again soon. Very nice view of Quatre Bornes centre from the 12th floor. Thanks again.
