La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lake George

La Quinta was a great place to stay at. The staff was very nice and friendly. The kids loved the pool.

The elevators were dirty, kids screaming up and down the hall, people outside at midnight talking really loud, and the hot tub always had kids in it as the pool water was cold. I get kids are kids but screaming in the halls after 11 for me is a little much. When I went to check in the staff was unsociable and was like sign here, here’s your key and that was it. I understand you were busy but a smile definitely goes along way.

We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone. My granddaughter absolutely loved the pool area! Very kid friendly.

We loved this hotel it was very clean for the most part. Check in staff was lovely. The pool was awesome, big with a waterslide, hot tub and kiddie pool, but unfortunately very over chlorinated and there was poor ventilation. So many of the pool goers were coughing non stop. My eyes were burning and stinging just sitting poolside. Hoping we can visit again in the future and this will be resolved!

Beautiful pool with a water slide, separate kiddie pool next to the big pool, and a hot tub. Room and bathroom was very clean. Beautiful outdoor playground, although we did not use it since it was snowy. Location is awesome. Attractions, shopping, and restaurants are all around.

Front desk staff not very friendly. Did not even acknowledge us upon check in. Breakfast staff were yelling at people. Room was good, but service was not

Everything is perfect except too much chlorine level in the swimming pool. I get that cause lots of kids spend the time but after swimming, my eyes and skin got so much itchy. (Normally, I have no issue after swimming for a long time in any other pool)

Really mixed bag. Positive: Room itself was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable. Not so good: After checking in, went up to our room and it was still in the process of being cleaned; we just waited in the hall until she was done. There was no attempt by employees to try to mitigate guests breaking the pool rules (toddlers & huge crowds in the hot tub, etc). Bad: The pool (the reason for our family getaway) was a disaster. The main pool was legitimately ice-cold, so cold my 7yo wouldn't get in it and stayed in the baby pool. Further, there was so much chemical/chlorine being used, my kids coughed the entire time in the pool and then all night long. Do not plan to swim here during the winter season.

the room was very clean and comfortable, hotel service was amazing. the pool was so over chemicaled that you couldn’t breathe and your eyes were burning just walking into the pool area. children were all coughing and choking due the the smell of chemicals in pool
