This was my 4th treatment with the Aheli spa at roseate reading hotel. I have been to a lot of spa's and without a doubt Aheli gives you the most for your money. From the lovely women who greet you and trailer plan your massage/treatment to the treatment itself. The whole process is professional and welcoming and the attention to detail is unmatched. I will never go anywhere else for a massage.
The reception lady was not very friendly when checked into the hotel, but the rest of the staff are very nice. The room looks dark and old. The shower switch fell out a few times when we tried to turn it on. The toilet got stuck easily. But the location was perfect, one minute walk from the train station.

Nice hotel, really helpful reception staff. The room was cold but the reception ladies helped me suss the heating. The TV kept cutting out every few minutes. Great breakfast.
If you want a big night out, stay here on a Saturday night as you can check out at 3pm. If you have an early start I would avoid as the internal noise of people coming in late and banging doors/street noise is loud.
Perfect for me as it’s right across from the office but probably not so great if you wanted to be in the city centre although it’s only an £8 taxi ride or £2 bus ride. Opposite a Beefeater which was handy but I would prefer an on-site bar and restaurant. Felt a bit uncomfortable on check-in to be asked if I was a smoker (I’m not) and if anyone would be joining me later 😳. Didn’t like the bed being made up with sheets, blanket and counter pane as it’s quite uncomfortable particularly on one of the hottest days of the year although the mobile air conditioning unit helped (first time I’ve had sheets and blankets for over 30 years since the day I got married despite extensive business (weekly) and leisure travel (4-6 times a year)). Hotel was very clean and the bathroom was well equipped. A bottle of water would have been a welcome addition to the room particularly in such hot weather. Not sure who to recommend the hotel to as it’s neither a corporate hotel with all the amenities or a home from home. Breakfast was on offer for an additional £15 and I decided to wait until I checked in to see. As I wanted to be in the office for 8am and there was no menu available, times of service or visibility of a dining room, other facilities or even other guests, I decided it may be too intimate and opted for a cold sandwich I had stored in the office fridge ‘just in case’. Was similarly priced to the executive room I had in the Novotel last week which had a full buffet breakfast included.
We stay at Hilton Reading to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. First we would like to say thank you to Ferooz for accomodation and Jana for the accomodation and lovely prosecco .Then we would like to say thank you to Lorena and Kornelia for the room decoration and to Daniel for early check-in. Everything was perfect. The staff was helpful, the accomodations were beautiful and the breakfast was superb. It couldn't have been better. Thanks . We had a wonderfull stay at Hilton Reading. Our room was clean, spacious with great amenities and a confortable bed.Thank you again to the wonderfull team.
I will br very honest. They charge like its a 4 to 5 star property. I dont have a problem in that. But i visited this place 4 to 5 times cos it has a good car parking. 1st time no lights. 2nd time no water 3rd time no internet. And most of the time u will there is some work going on which it will distrub u. Today i wanted to book a room again and they told me me its full and only 3 rooms are available. And it will cost 80k. I am ok with that. But all i will say when u charge so much. Pls provide that service also. Thank you.
We had a really great stay at De Vere Wokefield Estate, Elle & Diaa in reception were so lovely and extremely helpful throughout our stay, Kim & Sarah at breakfast were also so helpful and such friendly chatty people, really made you feel at home and nothing was any trouble to them. A special mention to the night porter (who’s name we unfortunately didn’t get) who kindly gave us a drive over to the mansion house Saturday night on a buggy as our feet were very sore!
ゲゲストI enjoyed my stay at Bow guest House. The owner, Mr Raza, was a very nice man and accommodating. Free parking on site was a great bonus. The guest house is near the centre of Reading so very convenient. It is not the poshest part of town tbf, bit of street noise at night but it didn't bother me. The accommodation was basic but good for the price. Thank you Mr Raza
ゲゲストI booked here for one night as was on site 20 mins down the road. I found the room to be basic, but everything I needed. I booked the En Suite Double Room as I didn't want to share a bathroom and didn't want to sleep on a single bed. It came with a little flat screen tv, a desk, a bed and 2 side drawers along with a little storage to hang up clothes and put the suitcase. The tap was missing the top cover for the cold tap, but it worked fine as did the hot water. I also found the room to be clean and the staff to be friendly. I paid extra to have the breakfast which came as 5 different options (I had the poached egg, sausage, bacon and mushrooms and 2 slices of toast) which was fine and couldn't complain. I feel like people are expecting the ritz accomodation for a low price? I knew what I was booking when I booked at £70, it did it's job and had no issues
I found the entrance door and reception a little underwhelming, however the room was very good. Good parking , good WiFi. Clean and tidy room with a small but new, bathroom. For a hotel, close to the centre of Reading, I thought it was good value.
