Canalside Inn was an amazing experience. We were able to take time as a family to walk around and enjoy the beautiful views. It was our first time traveling to Delaware and staying here made it memorable. My mother traveled with us to help with our son. The rooms were spacious for us all. The rooms were so comfortable. It’s great for kids! The pool is amazing and they loved being able to use the bikes. Thank you again for welcoming us and making the trip one of a kind.

Awesome experience! My husband and I stayed with our two dogs in the beach suite and it was plenty of room. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The Inn is at a perfect location. Walkable distance to restaurants and downtown shopping. We walked to the beach every day with the dogs. Our favorite restaurants are Ava’s, Lupo and dogfish. We really enjoyed breakfast at Egg and Dewey Post. I definitely recommend this experience. I have never stayed here during peak season, but during the slower months it’s a wonderful time. This was my third stay.

We have been staying at the Canalside Inn for many years. It is an ideal location if you want to bring your dogs. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with plenty of space. The location is also ideal for accessing the restaurants, shopping, and the beach. The hosts are responsive and really care about your time spent there being the best.

The weather was nice for Feb and I decided to take a weekend trip out of town with the dogs. The Canalside inn was perfectly located with a nice outdoor area along the canal for my two needy dogs. Check in was easy and the room was perfect for our needs. We went doggie shopping at the stores and found an outdoor patio at the Arena for lunch. Then we to the “doggie beach” to hang out. We can’t back exhausted but the inn provided everything we needed for blankets and dog bowls and anything that I forgot to bring with me!. The room was perfectly quiet and clean. It was a perfect escape!

We have stayed at Canalside multiple times in different seasons (early Spring, mid-Summer) and each time has been very pleasant and well worth the money. It is essentially our go-to place when we visit Rehoboth and not just because they allow dogs - the family who owns and runs the hotel were super nice and responsive and welcoming during a first visit and made it easy to decide to come back again. At this point we are on a first-name basis with Bryan and Kristen and look forward to future visits. The location is great and the facilities available such as an outside sitting area with firepits, pool, and community kitchen definitely augment the rooms - I think most of those were updated in the past year.

Awesome stay and bonus for being pet friendly. Close to downtown Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach. Bikes, beach chairs and beach gear available on site. We already have a trip scheduled for next year. If you like the beach, have a pet and love local restaurants this is a great stay.

I have stayed at The Canalside Inn many times over the last few years—sometimes several times a year! I love it! Bryan and Kristen and their staff have always made our stays enjoyable. I love the Inn’s proximity nightlife, the beach, and quiet spaces (if you need it). Their hospitality toward their guests, both human and canine, can’t be beat. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I visit! Additionally, Bryan’s advice and guidance regarding my doctoral work when I have stayed at the Inn off season as a writing retreat was above and beyond helpful.

Very charming Inn tucked away in a quiet neighborhood by the canal. Close to restaurants and shopping. Major plus that is it dog friendly !! Customer service was awesome from start to finish. Diane was so pleasant and very helpful. Rooms were very clean and charming. Will definitely make plans to visit again.

I can't say enough about how wonderful the customer service is for this hotel. I had an issue with my reservation and the manager, Kristin, was very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and I would certainly stay there when I am in the area! Great place!! Thank you for your kind help Kristin!
