ホテル コンチネンタル - ランス(Continental Hotel)

A lovely hotel in an excellent location. Very nicely appointed rooms and very welcoming staff. Public parking available outside with a hotel discount available. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

This is a nice hotel, close to the train station so very convenient as we were coming from Paris. Our BIG problem was our room. Our room wasn't available upon arrival and when we returned they had given us a horrible, dark first floor handicap accessible room right on the walk way to their other building and the kitchen access/bike parking for the staff, so absolutely no privacy. Apparently Rick Steves had a tour staying at the same hotel and my guess is the hotel staff gave all of the more preferred rooms to those guests! When we returned to the front desk we were offered a suite for two of our three nights and were required to pay an additional $450 for that opportunity to get our of our dungeon room! Our other issue was their breakfast one morning. We arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes before the "end" time we were told and clearly advertised in the elevator and we were told they were no longer serving breakfast, it was very uncomfortable as the staff was removing all of the food and clearly didn't want us in their way! There seemed to be a lot of other hotels very close by, so if I stay in Reims again I would certainly select another hotel!

This is a great hotel in the middle of a vibrant shopping and dining area that’s less than a 5 minute walk from the train station. All of my tours started from the Tourism Office which is in front of the station. Their restaurant downstairs is incredible as well. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and efficient.

Hotel is in an excellent location and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and housekeeping staff changed the twin beds to a double for us. Breakfast was good also and parking was available in an underground car park.

Lovely hotel in busy surroundings. Great customer service and clean, servicable rooms. Unfortunately severely let down by a really loud intermittent noise all through the night - sounding like a coffee machine but with the intensity of a jackhammer. When I mentioned this to staff in the morning they seemed to know what it was but had no way of addressing it. Also, unfortunately suffers from 'greenwashing' - having water bottles given to you to save plastic is great. Then you get to the room to find plastic wrapped paper cups and individually plastic wrapped soaps that will be thrown away after one night. What's the point?

We had mold coming through the interior wall of the bathroom to the room itself. And had difficulties trying to get a taxi from the hotel to an excursion, the staff couldn’t call a taxi directly they had to go through a “ghost concierge” which was a disaster and we were late for our event even though we arranged well in advance.

Nous avons été très déçu par l’hôtel et l’état défraîchi de la chambre. Celle-ci était très petite avec moquette foncée et rideaux très lourds il y avait une odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain très étroite. Pas vraiment ce à quoi nous nous attendions étant donné le prix élevé…

Located right at the begining of the central walking zone, immediately adjacent to underground city parking. Everything is walking distance. Clean, safe and friendly hotel with a delicious breakfast option.
