ソコホテル ポンデュガール(Soko Hotels-Pont du Gard)

A very pretty hotel on a human scale, beautifully decorated and superbly comfortable. Its green and peaceful location, just a stone's throw from the legendary Pont du Gard, allows you to enjoy the site before and after the tourists arrive. You're also just 20 minutes from beautiful Uzès, Nîmes and Avignon, to name but a few, as well as the Gorges du Gardon, the Alpilles and the surrounding vineyards for a breath of fresh air (and a good glass of organic wine ;) a great discovery - and above all, a wonderful encounter: Guillaume, the happy owner of the place, provides a warm and extremely friendly welcome - we left feeling like we were leaving a friend. Thanks for a great time, we'll be back with great pleasure.

This was our first stay at the newly renovated Soko Hotel in Remoulins, but I very much doubt it will be our last. Less than 10mins walk from the stunning Roman Pont du Gard aqueduct, it offers 4* quality at 3* prices. Air conditioned bedrooms and en-suits with large walk-in showers make for a very comfortable stay, especially considering the food is also of a very high quality.

We’ve stayed in 7 different hotels during our trip to France, some costing much more than this one, and this was by far the best. Everything felt special and personal. From the moment we walked in, we were treated as if we were at home. The place is beautiful and just a short distance walk to pont du gard, which is also a must. While we weren’t there for dinner, the breakfast was delicious and only costed 14 euros a person, which is more than worth it for what you get. My only regret was that we did not get to spend more time in there. You can’t go wrong with booking your stay here. We can’t wait to return on a future trip. Thank you for everything!

What an amazing experience! We had such a great stay at Soko Hotel. The room was well equipped, simple and tasteful decorated - and the bed was the BEST I have ever tried. The owners, Loretta and Guillaume, welcomed us with such warmness, we immediately felt « at home ». We enjoyed a fantastic dinner, with wines matching the meal. I would come back here anytime and recommend everyone to experience this wonderful place.

A very nice hotel, about 10-15 minutes away from Pont du Gard on foot. The staff is lovely, takes great care of their guests and have great recommendations. As we arrived on a Sunday, the hotel restaurant was closed and we were called in advance by the hotel to help us book a restaurant in the area. This was really appreciated! The room was perfect, clean and comfortable. The hotel also has a pool which was great with the temperatures we experienced. Finally, the breakfast was delicious. Only drawback, there were many wasps on the terrasse, making the breakfast not so comfortable...

A very nice hotel. Friendly staf, perfectly situated near Pont du Gard. Organised a table in the restaurent, very kind. Very clean rooms, nice breakfast, nice pool. Calme and pittoresk. Will come again. Easy to find, closed parking. Good airconditioning and wifi. Just all you need for a comfortable stay over.

The boss welcomed us very nicely upon arrival. He also recommended and then booked us a very good restaurant in the neighbourhood. The hotel has provided everything we need. The boss is also very helpful who assisted us very well whenever we need. The room is equipped with the latest version of TV which can connect to YouTube. Also, the room is very clean - almost dust-free. If I revisit Remoulins, I will definitely pick this accommodation again.

I called this hotel at 11pm on a Tuesday night in a frantic and disoriented panic. On my way to Barcelona from San Tropez, my friends and I had originally booked a hotel in the center of Nîmes. Upon arriving there at 10pm, we discovered they had double booked our room and we had no where to go. After calling about ten other hotels in the area (the majority of whom did not answer their phones), I was connected with an incredibly kind woman, who informed me that they *did* (miraculously) have a room for us to stay in. We arrived around midnight, and were greeted by Guillom. He was incredibly nice and got us into our rooms immediately, introducing us to the place as we went. The hotel itself is gorgeous and incredibly charming. It is exactly what you would think of a hotel in Provence to look like (in the best way). We also ate breakfast here, and it was perfectly done up. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more!!

Petit hôtel familial récemment rénové et géré par une nouvelle direction. Accueil charmant. Très bonne literie. Petite SDB mais moderne avec une belle douche. Petite chambre mais c’était les standards de l’époque et cela a son charme je trouve. Très beau buffet du petit déjeuner qu’il est en plus possible de prendre sur la terrasse. Si le temps s’y était prêté, je pense que la piscine doit être agréable. Localisation TOP car situé à quelques pas du Pont du Gard le long de la promenade verte à vélo donc … super facile. Un regret : n’avoir pas eu l’opportunité de tester le restaurant mais si la cuisine est aussi bonne qu’elle sentait, cela devait être délicieux.
