Great location and very good breakfast with a wide range of choices.

WE spend 1 hour in the spa/ jaccuzzi and the team was very sympathique and attentionning and professional. WE thanks them a lot for this nice moment WE will come back with pleasure.., ..,..............................................

The hotel was what I expected. Standard double room with a Beautiful view. Breakfast included. Apart from the odd rude staff member who put us on edge all other staff members were fabulous. Was made to feel welcome straight away! Loved the lay out of outdoor space by the pool. Easy to get to places and several local shops and good local food. Right by the beach and access to all transport without being on the busy road. I very much appreciated how the chef and cooks gave their time to understand my dietary needs and catered to my vegan requirements. (Make sure to make any requests straight away). Most staff were genuinely great at attending to other needs and engaged with guests 😀 If you're able to ignore moody individuals with a smile and looking for an affordable, no fuss, simple but luxury get away then just book it. Food options: 5/5 (was spoilt making requests as I wanted) Cleanliness: 5 Friendliness: 3.5 (would be 5 if there wasnt a rude women with a senior possition at reception handling an incident very unprofessionally and a seriously edgy man patrolling while we ate 😂) Location: 10! (Visit and you'll see for yourself) Do I recommend: yes Would I return: yes

Wonderful hotel and staff. This was our third time at the hotel in less than a year. Would highly recommend this to anyone. The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble at all. Great for couples, families and people of all ages. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

What an amazing hotel. Just left the hotel with the same emotions Emotions of sadness and fulfillment. Sadness cause I had the best time on a very friendly place with people that the are doing the best to provide high quality of services. Fulfillment cause I had a relaxing holidays. Very tasteful food, very comfortable mattresses and amazing view from the sea If you ask me JUST BOOK and go. The rest leave it on them...

A lovely hotel, with friendly staff, however we were put in this dingy stuffy room above some of the noisiest Irish people I’d ever met, then got upgraded to a beautiful instagram worthy air conditioned room in the newer block, bar staff are amazing and made our stay enjoyable, pool is too small for the amount of visitors but sunbeds are comfy, entertainment staff should change their title! No entertain g done at all! Water fit done every other day, no buzz, just a woman standing at the side of pool doing stretching exercises, then bringing out water polo goals to leave at the side, and evening entertainment is mainly karaoke or bingo! Kids club not really advertised and usually only 1-2 kids in there at best, but hotel is very close to the beach and main *****, 10 minutes walk to old town, take advantage of the massage service the staff are great.

From arriving to a welcome drink to checking out we had a fantastic stay at the Minos. I requested a room overlooking the pool and that was exactly what we had, the room was very clean and comfortable with a fridge, tea/coffee, kettle and a welcome pack of fruit and a small bottle of wine. We were bed and breakfast and that was also perfect catering for English with bacon and fried egg as well as full continental. The pool area was lovely with an additional pirate pool for children. Location wise was also perfect just down the street opposite to the seafront. All in all we would most certainly return!

I stayed at the Minos for a few days last month (October 2023). The room wasn't quite as spacious as some of those in the photos here but was fine for me as a solo guest. There was a TV (which I didn't use at all), a fridge, a double bed, a table and comfortable chair next to the bed, a balcony with a small table and two chairs, plenty wardrobe space, constant hot water for the shower. The room was cleaned every day and the staff were all very helpful. I also had the buffet breakfast every day - plenty of variety to choose from including bacon and fried eggs. That set me up nicely for the day. There is a small supermarket right next door to the hotel and an excellent coffee & pastry cafe about 100 metres further along the same side of the road. The bus stop for services into town is opposite. If you are using the bus buy a ticket from the supermarket before you get on the bus. The first time I tried to use the bus I didn't know this! Rethymnon beach is about 150 metres from the hotel. It took me about 35 minutes to stroll along the beach road to the old town harbour - but I am a slow walker these days.

Clean room, clean spa area and very good food. We arrived late in the evening just before midnight, but the waiter could offer us a cold but welltasting dinner. The hotel is only 150 meters from the beautiful beach and just next to the hotel there is a good supermarket for your daily needs.
