ホテル フィヨルドガーデン(Fjordgaarden - Kurbad - Hotel - Konference)

We stayed for two nights while visiting the west coast of Denmark. Found it to be an easy walk into town, which was rather sleepy this time of year (no complaints). Conversant in German and English, in addition to Danish, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Check in/out went smoothly, as did arranging use of the spa and free bikes. The entire place has a relaxing vibe and our room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Super comfortable bed and pillows, as well as a great shower. We booked a room with a little balcony with a view of the fields; if you can, it's worth it for the nicer view. The continental breakfast was delicious and they have a coffee machine that actually made really good, strong coffee. We didn't eat dinner in the restaurant, since it was very expensive (per the usual for Americans dining out in Denmark). Found a little place called Cafe Marina in Hvide Sande, which was perfectly suitable (maybe not during high-season). The spa is totally worth the additional cost. The steam room, various saunas, foot bath, heated indoor pool and salt water pool on the roof were wonderful. One fee gives you access to all of these options for the day.

Smiling and serviceminded staff. Nice room with comfortable bed. Quiet area for a good nights sleep. Short walk to Ringkøbing city center with a good variety in restaurants. Lovely surroundings for walking or running.

The positive part first: The room and spa bath were fine. Likewise, the staff were friendly. But the food was awful. They really marketed their 3 course dinner with home baked bread: what a disappoin**ent: the bread was lousy, the soup was cold and almost sold out, the sauce was not hot. It was NOT worth the money.

We received a room were all the people who have dogs sleep :(. 4 positive things was that we had a terrace, breakfast, coffee maskin and a good car charger on the parking lot. The bathroom was old, the water in the sink was not flowing properly. No small fridge in the room. Entrance to the spa had to be payed in addition :( The breakfast was good but not the best, very average.

Really nice hotel with good spa facilitets. The food is excellent and 10 min in walk distance to Ringkobing. Beautiful town. The spa has indoor and outdoor facilities and have something for every one. The restaurant serve good quality food and the service is good.

Simply put… this is the best vacation I have EVER had! From the second we entered fjordgården we were treated (almost) like royalty. The employees of this place are some of the most helpful people you will ever meet. The will go the extra mile to make you happy. The food is just Fantastic. The facilitys are so lovely and up to date. The whole place is just relaxing and wonderful. I have no bad things to say about Fjordgården!

Food was good, main course was excellent in all modesty. appetizer was 3/5 half the fish being overdone. Spa facilities were very relaxing, IR-sauna panels mounted too high, no jacuzzi (tho the 34° small pool area would have been perfect for just that albeit quite useless as it is with an identical much bigger pool right next to it.) The Elevator wasnt working to the ceiling, which we were suggested to use on check in, and on check out they were still suggesting it to new checkins- quite embarrising as I told their customeers it was out of order and they had to use the stairs she adviced against. Fitness area was cramped, compared to the number of guests. Decided not to use for the same reason. A major on the downside: They dont serve food outside evening hours, so if you check in at the rather late check-in (14:30) you might go hungry till 19:30. Suggestion: Cut your fruits- only having a bowl with apples init feels cheap

We stayed overnight Sunday to Monday and had a great stay. We had the 3 dish supper, brunch and access to bathing area included. All in all a very good experience. Very friendly an nice receptionist and other employees. Good service. Nice interior. Excellent pools and saunas. Very clean. Room as expected. Supper tasted good - and there was plenty. Brunch was excellent (except horrible baked beans - seemed like spaghetti sauce mixed with water and beans). Surroundings a bit boring.
