ラ トロバダ ホテル ブティック(La Trobada Hotel Boutique)

Likely the only hotel in Ripoll, but it was excellent. The owners/managers were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Minimal English. Hotel is squeaky clean. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options. Room tip: get a room on the opposite side of the road. The hotel is next to the police station; the police were giving their briefing at 0630 outside our windoe. Highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff before and after we arrived. The hotel is clean. The JR suite had a nice bed and beautiful bathroom. The hotel is stylish. Perfect location near to the city center and few minutes walks from the train station. We can recommend the hotel

We stayed at the Sport Hotel which is just behind the boutique part of the hotel and offers basic but comfortable budget accommodation. The hotel management couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful during our short stay and without being asked made us boccadillos for our day’s walking. The breakfast is well worth having for EUR 12.

Attractive & modern room, albeit small. We had a lovely view overlooking the town. Nice lighting and electric outlets on each side of the bed. The window has automatic shade controls. The hotel is close to the river and town center. The only negative was that the room & hallways had a slight odor like mildew. We opened a window which greatly helped. The breakfast was very good. Very helpful staff. Marce’ checked us in & served us breakfast. James was very helpful recommending places for us to see & stay on the rest of our journey! They made us feel quite welcome.

Modern boutique style, beautiful view of town and Monestary de Santa María

What a fabulous place and we found it by accident. Do not judge it by the outside (we had driven past and thought it did not look special), as it is a combination of great people, great accommodation and great food. This is a family owned business and the son was running the front desk when we walked in off the street. He was very friendly, helpful and patient with us. We chose the metal room which overlooked the old town. The rooms are beautifully furnished and everything has been thought of, down to the smallest details. Big thick towels, huge shower with a rainhead. Big, comfortable bed. Quiet, aircon, wifi and Tv all work. We decided to eat in the restaurant after looking around the old town. They have two set menus to choose from and we decided on the hot stone menu. We are so glad that we did. The parents run the restaurant with the mother as waitress and father cooking. The food was to die for, with all local produce used. We had the chees plate and the meat plate for our starters and they were very generous and had wonderful meats and cheeses and bread. Next was the hot stone main meal and we had lamb chops and the steak, which was huge. The meat was melt in your mouth and so tasty. For dessert we had the ice cream with ratafia liqueur!!! Amazing and we also had the fruit and yogurt. We will definitely be back as it was very special. The restaurant is small but was completely full.
