Just waiting to leave this amazing hotel after a week here. You couldn’t ask for a better location ☺️ Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean and I had a lovely view over the lake. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Honestly I am very sad leaving this beautiful part of the world and will definitely return sooner rather than later - Grazie 🙏
Hotel is lovely and all good quality. . Our room was an executive liberty and was large with everything you need. Location was perfect for the centre of Riva. Breakfasts were good although rather busy at the chef station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool area is clean but just not enough sun beds for the amount of guests. Spa was great which we used when we were unable to go round the pool. Towels and robes available. I would recommend this hotel and would return if I ever return to Riva.
Great service, amazing staff-))) Very beatifull view. It was our best Italy trip with Lido Palace Team. Swimpool and sauna was very improtant for us. In the evening a wonderful musician in the bar. Perhaps only 1 comment-) add more interesting cocktails to the bar-)) Thank you Lido Palace
We checked into the hotel for the second time. The first time was last year. Over the course of a year, the hotel has changed dramatically for the worse. I'll start with the smallest... We were checked into a room that smelled of cigarettes, we called the reception, an employee came and confirmed that there was indeed a smell of cigarettes. As a solution, they offered a room of the same class, but upon arriving at it, it differed from our first room in that our room had floor-length windows, while the proposed one had small windows. we refused. further more interesting..... To get rid of the smell, we opened the windows in our room and went to relax by the pool. We went for a swim in the pool (it’s about 6 meters wide) and from one end of the pool to the other, hotel guests threw a heavy rubber ball (the size of a tennis ball), before this the ball had already hit a little girl in the face, but the players still didn’t stop their fun and hit my wife with all their might in the head... as a result: my wife became hysterical from shock, they called an ambulance and at the hospital they diagnosed a head injury. The lifeguard who was in the pool area also did not react in any way to such dangerous games, and after the incident, when he asked him to show the rules for using the pool, he said that he did not know about such games. The staff, of course, gathered after the incident, but they only offered ice and did not call an ambulance. I tried to convey to the manager that the pool is a recreation area, not a water park. the manager did not react in any way to what happened. the next day we approached the manager to demand money for the remaining days, since we were going to leave their hotel, because we did not intend to continue trying to relax in this hotel. the manager refused. started calling my wife names. she took out her phone to film and record the insults, he began to attack her and threaten her. Ultimately, the manager said that the hotel would never refund the money for the remaining days, and that we should do “whatever we wanted.” To resolve the problem, we contacted the service through which we booked, who offered a reasonable solution to the problem. We provided an extract from the hospital with the diagnosis to the reception and we were refunded the money for the remaining days of the booking. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you want to relax and not get injured and psychological discomfort from communicating with such inadequate staff of this hotel.
This is our second visit to this beautiful hotel. Honestly, I could not recommend it highly enough. We had a bottle of bubbly left in our room on our anniversary and they cannot do enough for you. Impeccably clean, the receptionist is an absolute dream and the breakfast buffet is beyond luxurious. This will be our anniversary hotel in Riva from now on. Thank you to all the staff and anyone involved at this hotel in making it a premier stay in a beautiful town 🩷
I stayed as part of a coach tour with Leger and as it was a last minute change of hotel I didn't expect much. HOWEVER - It was a fabulous hotel , great room with extensive in room refreshments including a coffee machine. Mood lighting in the shower- great fun! The food was incredible proper restaurant food and very Italian the breakfast was extensive with lots for those with dietary needs. The staff were very very good. We arrived late and were served a delicious meal while our bags were whisked up to our rooms by staff who had stayed late to accommodate us. Throughout the stay staff were great the breakfast lady deserves special mention, nothing was too much trouble and she smiles and greeted everyone. I'd love to go again. It is a way from the lake but we had no free time to walk there so didn't affect us. If they got some mugs and milk jugs for the Brits who like a decent cuppa it would be lovely. An English speaking TV channel would also be nice.
JJoanne VHolidays are expensive luxuries- especially nowadays, and decisions about where to go cannot be taken lightly. It speaks volumes therefore that, uniquely, immediately after returning from our stay at the Villa Nicole this summer we set about booking to return to the same hotel next summer. It was that good. The hotel itself is tucked away off a quiet avenue a short stroll from both the town and the lakeside-both easily walkable either along the road or using paths and cycle ways. From the moment you enter the lobby you are greeted by both the amazing staff and your wonderful surroundings- views across the very pleasant, relaxed bar area and out to the new pool and bathing facilities, with multiple comfortable loungers either by the pool itself or in a separate green and shaded area for when the heat gets too intense. The staff, without exception, were wonderful- remaining efficient and knowledgeable about what they were doing whilst at the same time sharing humour and jokes under the twinkling, watchful eye of Maitre d' Ignatio, who's dry, deadpan humour set the tone for the entire team. They made the whole stay a pleasure and are certainly one of the main reasons we will be returning. The rooms were well appointed and clean and the food was amazing- a wide choice of both local and international dishes and no repeated offerings throughout our two weeks and so beautifully prepared and presented. Riva is lovely and interesting, the hotel and its facilities are great and the staff are the best!! Looking forward to next summer already so BEWARE IGNATIO- the peg man is coming back! It’s very sad to say we have to go home tomorrow;( ! ASH was Fab! It should have at least 4 *! We are Fam of 3 ( baby girl 11 yrs old so far ) room was not so big but we didn’t stay in during the day, however it’s new refurbished, very clean and comfortable beds! Bathroom as well brand new and clean! Breakfast was good, coffee from the coffee machine just great ! Outside big garden with the trampoline! big and clean swimming pool, great for children! Very friendly staff working here. Speaking English, German, so it was easy to understand each other:) for those who like to keep in shape during a hols brake they also have gym at the 5th floor :) hope we will be back one day !
There is almost nothing to fault about our stay. The hotel is located right in the centre which is ideal for exploring the town. Close to many bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Breakfast is a buffet style with plenty of choice. The staff are super friendly and are always happy to help. The hotel has a roof terrace which is really nice on a sunny day. One thing to be mindful of is that you cannot access the hotel by car so transfer dropped us at the ferry port which is only a couple of minutes walk. This was no problem for us but something to consider if you had mobility issues. The one thing which would be an improvement would be to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. But otherwise house keeping was immaculate and we have no complaints.
