ウェルネス ホテル モンティス(Wellness Hotel Montis)

Beware of this hotel. No one answers phone and they are absolute unserious in booking and cancellation terms. They confirmed my cancellation and said everything was ok but than they booked from my creditcard a much higher price than the original booking. I will give this to my lawyer collegue

Amazing views from the hotel, breakfast and dinner ok nothing special. Our room really needed maintenance. One wall was really moist (picture), we went to wellness area and when we were checking out they wanted us to pay 12€/guest, but I complained because the jacuzzi was not in use and the saunas were not hot, so we were there max 10minutes. People working in the hotel are very friendly and nice.

The hotel is like labyrinth but is easy to orientate and very pleasant. The rooms were clean, the food was very good and the options to hang around were outstanding according to the location thankful to staff member Jožko. Very obliging and friendly, ready to take all our offers and jokes. Great stay and all recommendations for business meetings or tembuildings on Golte in Hotel Montis.

The location of the hotel, local people and staff are wonderful (👍👍👍👍👍) . Rooms are clean, food ok. But apparently the hotel is lacking good leadership as there were a lot of serious issues during our stay. For example, the hotel full of guests run out of water for the whole day (just imagine what that means), there were technical difficulties in the room and at the entrance of the hotel, additional services as renting e-bike or using zip line are all closed which is not apperent from the hotel website, one evening saunas at the wellnes center did not work at all etc. And this should be a hotel with 4 stars??? We do not recomend. 👎👎👎👎👎

We had great 4 days at the hotel. The location is stunning, we had nice walks in the surrounding area, did some sledding on one of the not operational pistes. This ski area is suited for a couple of days skiing, when we were there, 9 kms of pistes were operating. The ski rental options are not too good, bring your own. I couldnt find comfortable skiboots, I skied in 3 different pairs, all of them were terrible. Food was good, out of 4 dinners only 1 was not good - on a Monday. The coffee at the bar is excellent, almost like in Italy. Staff is superfriendly, at times too busy, its not easy to order drinks for dinner. Rooms were nice, we had a lovely view of the piste and mountains with a nice terrace, beds were comfortable. Sound isolation between rooms is not good, but the hotel was very quiet after 10 pm. The only real negative was the parking situation, you have to park by the side of an unpaved road with not much space. In front of the hotel there are 10 parking spaces max (apparently only for loading and unloading for an hour - this is not the case, most of the cars were there for days), although you can see many more cars being parked in every possible way. In mid March it was easily possible to reach the hotel by car, which was much more convenient than having to use the cable car with all the luggage.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, ready to help with a special request. Breakfasts and dinners have a good variety. Wellness area operates all year round. Room is clean and offers a great view from its balcony. Hiking trails start next to the hotel. Parking is free and right outside the hotel. It was difficult to drive here the first time: Waze and Google Maps were giving wrong directions. The road to the hotel is great (but narrow and curvy), only the last 600 m is an off-road drive.

The views are quite nice from the hotel and get better as you climb further upwards. The horses and cows seem seem social and quite used to people. There is a guy riding around in a yellow quad which disrupts the natural calm. The 2 stroke motor is quite loud and smelly. I hope they upgrade to an electric quad soon.. The staff are all very friendly though they are horribly under staffed and under trained. Why did I need to teach someone how to make a coffee Americano? The food is buffet style, overcooked and bland. Bring your own spices. The beds are OK but not great and the walls are thin so you hear everything from the neighbours. Having coffee and tea in the room would be most welcome but was sadly missing. Lastly, the cable car runs once an hour and stops at 1800, so plan accordingly.

Réservation non respectée, staff très désagréable. Le téléphérique qui doit permettre l’accès facile à l’hôtel était fermé tout l’été.. mais l’hôtel ne prévient pas ! La nourriture était passable, pas de place de parking dédié. Les chambres sont quelconques et pas insonorisées.

Tolles Hotel, tolle Lage, schöne Wandermöglichkeiten, nettes Personal, schöner Wellnessbereich. Wir waren im Sommer dort. Sehr nett und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Für Familien mit Kindern ist zu beachten, dass der Pool nur bis 14 Uhr benutzt werden darf!!!! Wirklich verbesserungswürdig ist die Küche. Ist sehr lieblos und kaum Abwechslung. Wir hatten HP. Niemand konnte zum Schluss das Essen mehr sehen….
