The rooms are beautiful. The breakfasts are always delicious. The owners are fantastic! They are so friendly and attentive to our needs. The location of the bed and breakfast is great. You can walk down to a small lake and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Some places are classy and luxurious, some places are cozy and welcoming; Dana and Trey have managed to mix the alchemy of hospitality and do it all! From the moment Dana opened the door to the Manor, and Trey poured us refreshing wine on the back deck, to our last goodbye -- our stay was perfect. Tasteful, elegant, friendly and fun. And, Dana and Trey have made it their mission to know the people, the locally sourced food, the places to explore and the adventures that await. They have embraced "The Valley."

Beautiful home with rich history. Everything was comfortable and well appointed. Dana worked with my husband prior to our arrival to plan a very special birthday trip for me which included spa treatments followed by a delicious dinner, birthday cake and a relaxing fire pit to end the evening. The breakfasts were amazing and many of the ingredients locally sourced. Trey also made the best espressos! I can’t say enough great things about our visit. It was beautiful and memorable and we can’t wait to visit again!

The Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation booked the Ivy Cabin for the two VMI Cadets that completed an 86-mile march from Lexington to New Market. Dana was wonderful to work with from making the reservation, communicating details so the cadets could check in late, ensuring they were warmly welcomed, and supporting their effort in a special way! The two cadets were enthralled with their stay and very appreciative of the accommodations to ensure they could shower, eat, and get a good night's rest before their next day. Both marchers said they were taking notes in anticipation of recommending to friends and family. They also said it would be a great romantic getaway option and wished they weren't crashing for one night between long days marching. We stayed for two nights while hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Manor is very convenient to the Parkway. Our accommodations were wonderful. We stayed in the Shenandoah Room which is quite large, very clean and comfortable. Trey and Dana are gracious hosts who have thought of everything. The breakfast was super delicious and filling. The property is large with a pond and a stream to sit by while enjoying the scenery. We visited the Manor over 25 years ago when the Hoernleins owned it and it was a pleasure to return and see all the updates, yet it remained the same charming Inn. Great memory.

Great B&B that is comfortable and cozy. I have stayed in the main house and also the cabins on the property. All of the accommodations are very clean and great furnishings. Love that they also have a pool. The inn keepers - Dana and Trey are wonderful and fantastic breakfast! Great location to travel to Blue Ridge Parkway, Natural Bridge State Park , Lexington and Staunton. Very relaxing stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were in the area for our daughter's college graduation and stayed two nights here. We loved everything about Steeles Tavern Manor. The rooms were well done. The pillows came in soft and firm. Our room had a sitting room and a great bathroom. It was obvious that Ty and Dana had put a lot of thought into to decor. That of course pales when compared to our breakfast. We had breakfast the first morning and told our two daughters we would treat them to lunch but not breakfast. There was no way we were going to miss Dana's cooking. We also enjoyed the grounds. A creek runs through the property and the pond was very peaceful. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Steeles Tavern Manor is one of the most wonderful stays we have ever had. Your hosts go well 'above and beyond' to ensure you have everything you need for a pleasant stay. Breakfast is simply amazing. Need a massage? Can do. Need a brownie skillet for an evening snack? Can do. Suggestions for things to do? Got that covered. Whatever you need, they accomodate. 1st-class service & a great venue! Make a reservation!

Tremendous stay at the Sunset cabin. We couldn't be happier with the accommodations and hospitality. The level of communication, clear instructions and cleanliness of the facility are top-notch. Would recommend to anyone looking for a romantic getaway.
