コンセプト テラス ホテル(Concept Terrace Hotel)

This is an unusual hotel in that is is on level five of a six level building and only occupies some of that floor. An array of other types of businesses are on other levels but you only see them as you go up/down in the glass elevator. The hotel is well located to bus and metro services and easy walking to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, art and history museums etc. We had a balcony room, spacious enough and a small but modern bathroom. We had scaffolding near our balcony for tradies working on level six but this didn’t obstruct or view. I would check that you didn’t have a balcony room that was obstructed by scaffolding. Good A/C and TV. Very good breakfast for €10 and in a lovely enclosed but light and airy terrace area. King bed was firm but comfy. Double gazed doors provide efficient soundproofing. Our host Palmira was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. My wife was quite I’ll on the second and third days and we were to check out at 11am, but our airport transfer wasn’t until 5.30pm. Palmira changed the room cleaning schedule to allow us a 3pm checkout without any extra charge even though I insisted. This meant my wife had somewhere comfortable to rest for most the day. Thank you so much Palmira for your kindness.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE. IT IS NOT A HOTEL.  My wife and I stayed at the Concept Terrace Hotel for one night on September 27,2023. We travel frequently and stay at 4 and 5 star accommodations only. I am extremely disappointed with this place, which should not be considered a hotel. I felt like I was ripped off with the misleading advertisement that it is a 4 star hotel. I paid 444 euros for one night in Summer time. We arrived to this place around 9pm, and there were no staff members in the building. Lorenzo, who is the front desk clerk, was very nice via WhatsApp and sent me a message with instructions on how to enter the building with a code dialed on a keypad. You immediately encounter an old small front desk and on the back wall you will see the signs of the different companies that have offices in this building. Don't expect security, because the front desk clerk leaves around 7pm. Then, I picked up my room key, left on top of the front desk on the fifth floor, where the rooms are located at. The A/C  and the room were very noisy. My wife and I were able to hear the noisy street. On top of this, our room was situated right next to their small kitchen and hallway to the breakfast buffet. Breakfast starts at 7am, and right then you will listen the noises of people coming in for breakfast and the staff getting the breakfast ready. There is no lunch or dinner served at this facility. Needless to say, we did not rest well at all. This facility is composed of 9 rooms located on the fifth floor of a building where there are offices of other companies. As you get off the elevator on the fifth floor, there is even a law firm office across the entrance of this facility.  This is not a hotel in any way, shape or form. There is no lobby, pool or gym in this facility.  I would like someone to explain why is this accommodation considered a four star hotel, if it consists of only 9 rooms on the fifth floor of a building with offices from other companies, including on the same floor of this facility. Hotels usually have a sign at their entrance showing how many stars have been awarded. This facility's sign shows three stars in a row and a smaller star on top of the central one. What does this mean? They must be paying a company to get fake good reviews. If you search for their reviews on Priceline and filter them to read their one star reviews, you will soon realize that what I'm saying is true. I have enclosed a picture of a couple of these reviews. The room was clean and the staff was very nice, but this has nothing to do with the incredibly misleading advertisement as a hotel and as a 4 star facility. I would categorize it as a guest house, and a 3 star facility (not a hotel). I would be surprised if they have been evaluated by a bonafide credentialing entity or not.

Very nice and modern hotell, not many rooms but friendly and personal atmosphere. Centrally located, clean and very nice breakfast. We travelled as a family and had two rooms. Very helpful and serviceminded staff.

BEWARE of booking at the Concept Hotel Rome - you may get canceled on at the last minute! I booked directly on the Concept Terrace Hotel website on April 5th 2023 for a room over the very busy July 8th weekend - it looked like a nice hotel in a great location. I'm on a cruise ship now and heading to Rome. Yesterday (July 3rd) the hotel emails me there was a "system glitch" and that I need to "cancel" my room. (See my attached photo) On a port day I called the hotel and they confirmed that they indeed have no accommodation for us. Most comparable hotels are now over $1000/night now. This may be a "nice" hotel and it appears to be in a great location, but I would caution anyone on booking this hotel as you may get stranded like we did!

From the moment we walked in to the Concept Terrace, we were made to feel very welcome, with a coffee while we waited and a smile and a chat from Vincenzo. The rooms are modern and clean with good ensuite facilities. The hotel doesn't have many rooms which makes it feel quite boutique in style. It's on the 5th floor of a building in the Trevi district (about 10 minutes walk from the fountain) but don't let this put you off (there is a lift). The breakfasts are a well stocked buffet style and you can choose certain items that will be freshly made for you (eggs, bacon, toast, drinks etc.). Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we'd definitely recommend this hotel. Sara and Palmira also need a mention as they were stars as well.

bad hotel! not 4 start! the room was very dirty and not clean and the room was not sound proof- alot of noice! cheap furniture in the room, bad facilities not recommend . the staff are very nice but the room and cleaning is not

Great hotel, very friendly staff, couldn’t do enough for us , we lost a suitcase on arrival in Rome before our cruise and they took delivery of it, rooms spotless, cracking breakfast, great location close to trevi fountain. Great base for a city break,

Our family of five stayed here recently for two nights, and we had a fantastic experience. The clerk Vincenzo and his mother treated us like family--from recommending restaurants to providing us shortcuts to major Rome attractions--their warm hospitality was far beyond what we usually experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing Breakfast smorgasbord (included in the room price) prepared personally by Vincenzo and his mother and served on the sunny terrace offering a fine view from seven stories up. They asked for our coffee orders and made whatever we requested, refilling as necessary. Fantastic experience all around staying here--the friendly and helpful staff made all the difference!
