メルキュール ローマ セントロ テルミニ(Mercure Roma Centro Termini)

Ein durchschnittliches Hotel in jeder Hinsicht auf 3-Stern-Niveau. Überwiegend sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstück mittelmässig- Kaffee gut. Lage zentral, aber Niemand in Rom kennt es. Nicht mal die Polizisten, die man 100m entfernt nach dem Weg fragt.

This Mercure hotel is very well positioned to visit Rome downtown and be connected using High Speed train i was there just one night for business, found a comfortable room recently renovated. Good stay

I checked out before didnt continue my staying with them. I booked a room that was 20mtr and they gave me a room i cant even walk in or no space to put my luggage. The smell of the room is like sewers or am setting in the underground sink. the room looks musty and the a/c is not working and they didnt fix it. When i requested my money back they told me no refund and this is a 20mtr room which that's a lie even after i saw them the room i booked they didn't confess that its they're mistake and they have to refund the money back.. Worst hotel in rome

Simple elegance. Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Luxurious bathroom. Good Wi-Fi. Air con. Everything good you need for business, and Rome is on the door step. I didn’t eat, but the downstairs restaurant looked busy and plentiful at breakfast as I left.

Arrogant excuse of a man on reception. (Shift am Friday 6th oct) Male looked at you like you shouldn’t even be speaking to him. Never experienced this in my life. He should be fired. We politely asked after one night was it at all possible to move room as our room faced scaffolding & tarpaulin & bathroom was tiny. He just stared at his screen as if he hadn’t heard me. Then said go pack your case and leave it there if I can move you I will if not I won’t. Ofcourse we knew it would still be in the same room on return. He was just amusing himself and inconveniencing us. If you want aircon you need to beg ask on check in because they switch it on from here. Prepare to grovel for anything you want here at the Mecure. FYI need to pay at least €60 on leaving it’s a city tax. I could go on! There are other hotels use them I wish I’d looked at trip advisor. I was a hotel receptionist for 8 years & this guy needs training!

WARNING: THIEVES The check out experience was one of the worst we have ever experienced and we are both frequent travellers.  As we were checking out, the man at the front desk berated me for having booked a room for only one person when we were a party of 2. I apologized and told him that it was a very last minute booking so I didn’t even realize that I had booked for only one guest instead of 2. At this point he continued to be rude, and told me very condescendingly that I should’ve known better. His attitude and demeanour were terrible. He would not accept that it was an honest mistake on my part. He informs me that there will be an additional charge of 30 Euros for the extra guest. My husband stated that we should’ve been informed upon check in because the check in attendant took both of our passports so he knew that we were a party of 2. The man who was checking us out would not check us out or allow us to leave unless I agreed to pay the additional 30 Euros. We were in a rush to get to the airport and had a prebooked  taxi waiting outside so at this point, I simply let him charge my card so that we could go as he was not allowing us to leave. The front desk attendant who was working on the morning of Tuesday, March 7 needs to have some basic customer service training and I also believe he was committing theft. He charged me 30 euros which is incorrect and possibly predatory. I looked up the rates and changed the booking status from one person to 2 persons and the difference was 7 Euros. Why would he charge 30 Euros if the difference is in fact 7 Euros as shown on your website? He is stealing.  I have screenshots from the Accor website showing that the difference is 7 Euros and not 30 Euros. (Positives: the location is great and the man who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately these do not make up for the experience we had at check out which was so bad it has inspired me to write my first review ever)

This hotel is inappropriately classified as four stars. In my experience it is a three star hotel. The location is really prime, but that's really the best part of the experience. The staff is also very professional and friendly. The hotel is decorated in a modern, minimalist, Ikea style (the bedding is literally from Ikea), but with poor finishing, especially bathroom. Our room was quite spacious, but without natural daylight. The window is actually an installation shaft. The statement that it is an "inner view" is misleading. The heating of the room can be individually regulated, but not the bathroom, which is only heated in the morning and evening. The cleaning of the room (especially the bathroom) is not at a high level. Towels were changed after three days, upon request. There is a heater for hot drinks in the room, but coffee was only available on the first day (out of four). Breakfast was average with only one generic cheese and one type of bread. The coffee was excellent. I recommend the hotel in case of a good price offer. The Mercure brand is not suitable within the Accor corporation, it belongs to the quality of their Ibis brand.

It’s beautiful Hotel in perfect location ( 5 minutes walking to the nearest metro and buses outside ). Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything you need for a stay. Highly recommended.
