I stayed twice in the hotel during the same vacation from how lovely my first stay was. All the staff & the front office manager are very friendly and have made my stay even more special. The hotel is so beautiful & clean, I would also describe it as quiet & luxurious. It has just been renovated so everything is new & modern. The style of the hotel and the colors used will automatically give you the feeling of peace & serenity when you enter. The rooms are spacious, each having a nice balcony or terrace. I loved the pool & spa area, it was always quiet and their sun beds were nicely distributed with lovely views. The garden area was relaxing as well with a breathtaking view, & had several seating options to sit down & relax. I loved that they offer free yoga & meditation classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. My mother loved the Spa so much, and highly recommends their massages and facials. You also get a free parking space. The people staying at the hotel are all of high class, and here to relax. This is not a super busy, loud & touristy hotel, which I love. Even when it’s fully booked, you don’t feel that it’s crowded. The location is a 5 minute walk to Lake Tegernsee, and is close is several restaurants and a grocery store. Activities include biking, hiking, SUP yoga, horseback riding & swimming. The breakfast is delicious, and the hotel restaurant (lunch + dinner) was also great! One thing I wish for is offering more international dishes like pizza, burgers, more salad options & more pasta options. However, everything we tried were great especially the Schnitzel and Truffle Linguine. We don’t speak German, and the restaurant went out of their way to print us an English menu. A lady also once read the whole menu for us and translated it all. Great service! Special thanks to Jonas, Simona, & Michella for making our stay a lot more special! All the staff was friendly and that is why we will come back again. Thank you so much for a nice, relaxing vacation!

Very modern and comfortable rooms. No air conditioning but got very cool at night. Some staff was quite brusque but ultimately all helpful. Our teens thought the pool area which has an indoor outdoor pool was amazing as did we! Super breakfast! Quick walk to the lake but not a good spot to jump in.

We spent five nights in a family suite. Only the third suite we were shown halfway looked like the fotos advertised in offer. The room was absolutely not up to modern standards. The kids bed mattress was broken and was not changed although we requested. One of our kids slept on the couch. Our bed was making noises when you slightly moved. Power plugs etc were missing … The kids had to leave the pool at 1600 which is unacceptable for me. The concierge tips for sporting were also practically not existing. Absolutely zero views. For me this hotel is not meeting the standard other German hotels in this price range are offering. We will not come back and I feel sorry about the money I spent.

A lovely hotel with great staff and excellent facilities. We stayed here 9 nights and were treated like honoured guests. The food was delicious, particularly the breakfasts which had an extensive range of fruit and anything you could possibly want. The location just a few minutes from the lake was ideal - close but not too busy, and swimming in the lake was lovely. We had a really enjoyable holiday. We will certainly come back.

Stayed over Xmas for 4 nights. Newly renovated hotel including the rooms. You get a feeling of everything being brand new the moment you walk into the hotel. Dinner was excellent on each days including the special Xmas dinner. Drinks and food menu at the Bar is also very good. The hotel is situated roughly 5 -10 mins walks from the Tegernsee and also the center of the town Rottach Egern. The staff make the difference. Warm and courteous.. from the reception, restaurant, bar and the concierge. The only point I would have wished for was to have a little more choice for breakfast but that is a matter of personal choice. There is variety and good quality breakfast available. Visited again over Xmas and found the hotel had still the same high level of service and warmth as we had experienced in 2021. The hotel still feels new and the staff help to make it is a great experience. Great location to walk around Tegernsee and the surroundings, makes it a great hotel to stay in.

Upon entering you are engulfed by the warmth and naturalness, of the flowing lit wood backdrop giving the air of tradition now transformed into a contemporary entrance. A mix of electic art: a large playful multi colored installation and huge pots filled with orchids. You know you are in for a treat! Very friendly welcoming staff Rooms are well appointed with everything you might need. Wonderful spa and swimming pool area. The breakfast is vast only thing missing was a teapot ! The „piece de Résistance“ was our dinner at the Dichter restaurant. This was in every way exultation for the taste buds, each course surprised and delighted us. If you are at the hotel do try to go. Do leave room to stop at the bar for a night cap.

There is much to recommend this hotel. The common areas are lovely; the location beautiful; and the spa very relaxing (though nude, despite being co-ed). The concierge was attentive and helpful. We borrowed e-bikes and enjoyed exploring the surrounding Tegernsee lake area (though they had no helmets - we had to rent these nearby). There are two restaurants - a casual bar and a more formal traditional Bavarian restaurant. The food and cocktails were quite good. The rooms themselves were large but a bit rustic. And for the price, one might expect service similar to a Four seasons or Ritz Carlton; but that was not what we found. Our nut allergic 18 year old daughter was accidentally served a salad with cashews. The waiter was extremely apologetic but our daughter nonetheless spent two nights and one day at the local hospital and the rest of us spent our time either visiting her or driving 2.5 hours round trip to the Munich airport to replace her epinephrine. I’d have expected the hotel to have found and secured the epipen for us, or at least located one (we did that ourselves despite not speaking German); and I’d have expected them to comp part of our stay, since once our daughter was poisoned, it was no longer a vacation for any of us…but they did none of that. They neither problem solved effectively nor took any accountability for their staff’s mistake. We left frustrated and disappointed that we’d spent so much for what became a two-day nightmare.

Excellent facility , nice service and a top spa area, also the area close to the hotel is well for relaxing. Please book the restaurant in advance, it might be overbooked from outside. All together it was a good experience at lake Tegernsee and the mountains around.
