Nightcap at Roxby Downs

TV didn’t work even when I asked for someone to look at it, I couldn’t get a Chanel or watch anything on it The walls were so thin I heard the guy fart, he did nothing but swear and o mention this to staff but apparently I couldn’t swap rooms

Limited reception hours have to find another location to checkin, Rooms were not clean upon checkin. We had to clean all glasses as they were dirty & floors had not been vacuumed. Bathroom bin had other guests rubbish in it. Overpriced accommodation.

After spending the day in the desert heat it might have been nice to have a swim but with dead palm fronds, decomposing foliage and assorted unidentifiable flotsam barring my entry (not to mention the dirty sediment and algal film coating the pool floor) I thought better and had a shower. This review is not all bad however, the shower was nice, room clean and comfy and the cold pale ale in the adjacent tavern just what the doctor ordered. But really at $170 / night for a basic queen room would it be that hard to clean the pool once in a while?

Having stayed many years ago and loved it, the motel looked unkept and unloved and was expensive. It is disappointing that there is no longer a restaurant. Very limited dining facilities are available in the town. My meal was over cooked and overpriced.

The property was a little difficult to see as signage is faded. The room was very nice and clean and suitable to our needs. The only thing I have to fault is that it was noisy as other guests were not considerate of others

Rang to cancel the room and u get an answering service to leave message or ring the taven but by the time someone calls u its to late so it cost 170 for a.room that i could nt stay in as i was told.to self isolate

The room was modern and very nice. Noise not too bad. When I checked in late (dark) I was given a room number. However I wasn’t told where it was located. I wanted a cup of tea too but there was only coffee in my room. Very comfortable stay though
