From the moment we walked through the door we felt very welcome. Our room was exceptional, very clean, warm and comfortable. Our nights sleep was awesome and the cherry on the cake was a fantastic breakfast to wake up to! We both slept very well. Every member of staff we dealt with was happy, friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to this hotel, a really pleasant place to stay.

Nine of us stayed here for our annual golf weekend. Just what we needed clean and fresh rooms close to the centre with reasonable parking. The freshly cooked breakfast was one of my highlights. Very good and great quality. The rooms are all individual probably on the smaller side but for our purposes just fine. The on-site team were all very helpful and overall we had a good stay. It was close to a decent pub the cricketers which made up for the hotel not having evening dining facilities. Many thanks

Based on the reviews, we had high hopes, but sadly, upon entering the hallway, the stench of stale cigarette smoke proved not to be a one-off… The owner was lovely and immediately arranged for a free parking permit. We were given a room on the first floor, at the front, which is either a Twin or becomes a King when the beds are pushed together. Be prepared for late night revellers on the street outside or ask for a room at the rear. The B&B was within easy walking distance of town, the gardens and main restaurants being about 10 minutes away. The room was comfortable and clean, but there was no escaping the cigarettes seeping into the bedroom under the door so we rolled up the bath mats to act as smoke excluders. If you smoke then this will not bother you. We couldn’t work out where it was coming from. After an exhausting day, sleep was very much needed, but at 01:45 we were woken by drunk neighbours, whose colourful conversation continued until about 3am...if we’d been in a hotel we could have asked Reception to intervene. At 06:30, however, we were woken again by loud conversation from another room, so gave up, packed and headed down for breakfast. Sounds like we were unlucky in comparison with other reviewers. There were an array of cereals, jams and spreads and we were offered a full English which was nice. With quiet, resignation and bemusement we paid the extra fee for our (well-behaved) dogs, whilst the slumbering drunks remained in bed as we departed into the fresh air and headed home for a good night’s sleep. Overall: 3/5. Lovely owner, great location. Stunk of cigs. It’s a lottery who stays next door.

海外のホテル施設がどれほど良いかを期待しないでください。タオルは穴から洗い流され続けています。 私は出張中で、5日間滞在しました。朝食の8つの選択肢は毎日まったく同じで、場所も変わっていません... 彼らのサービスはとても良く、スタッフはとてもフレンドリーで、スリッパは持ってこなかったので、ついにスリッパを手に入れようとしました。

Delightful hotel, with kind attentive staff. For us it was a bit of a surprise as we were just looking for a stop off on a long journey. We’ll definitely return.
