ザ マウント エッジカム(Mount Edgcumbe)

We had an extremely pleasant overnight stay in this charming hotel. The whole place is beautifully decorated, and our room was very pretty, and also very comfortable. Staff were really friendly, and our evening meal and breakfast were both great. Can happily recommend!

What an amazing experience. Probably one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. So much thought has gone into the design. An eclectic mix of furniture beautifully put together. We had a really warm welcome and all the staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant and it was first class. Breakfast was equally perfect. They are just about to open an extension to the restaurant which looks lovely. It was very quiet at night and enjoyed sitting in the garden. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean. Would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends and planning to come back again near Christmas. We combined our trip with a visit to Pashley Manor Gardens and High Rocks.

From the moment we arrived at Mount Edgecumbe we felt welcomed. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The place is so clean, vibrant and quirky. Our room was so spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfy. We had an amazing breakfast. I had the eggs royale which was the best I had ever tasted. I just wished we had booked for 2 nights and not just 1. Outstanding value for money. I will definitely be booking again.

We spent an excellent few days at The Mount Edgcumbe. Lovely, clean, comfortable room with some quirky decorative touches. Super breakfasts and space to sit and enjoy a coffee in the lounge or a drink in the bar throughout the day. Very good food in the evening, too. Staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Parking on-site and a picturesque walk across The Common into town made this the ideal spot to relax and explore.

My 3 months review with my Advisor was booked at the Edgcume as normal. We were greated by Ed who promptly poured our drinks. David showed us to our table and was as requested a light are due to my poor vision. David offered us nibble whilst we perused the menu, which is needed as vast and so much choice!! We chose our meal with Tom our host for much of the meal delivering them. He is a asset to your restaurant attentive with some humor mixed in. Olaf, Ed, Tom I noticed we checking on us if weneeded further service but not intrusive under watchable eye of David. The Edgcume team thanks to Vali has not compromised his back and front house teams to offer a great time. It was such a good time we stayed for a few more bear!! Think I might say hear for beer more often..... Well Done XX

Amazing hotel definitely recommended. Room was well decorated and very comfortable with a lovely shower! The pub downstairs was a great addition and the breakfast excellent!

I simply do not know where to start with this beautiful property. Everything is perfect - the rooms are gorgeous - miniature four seasons perfection by way of quality. Food is perfect and such amazing value for money. I used to stay at the Hotel du Vin - completely different quality (HDV is way inferior) - but twice the price If anyone seeks a little bit of a weekend break with a difference - this is the place. I recommend dinner here and a meal in the pantiles (ivy + an host of other restaurants) for the perfect weekend break

Checked in for a one night business stay. Room was an automatic upgrade. It would have been great for 3 months not just 1 night!! Rooms were spacious, comfortable and very warm on a freezing cold night. i was meeting a colleague in town and asked the Manager did he have any recommendations. He said "downstairs". I wasn't sure what he meant so headed into town. I wandered back and found out there was both a Restaurant and Bar downstairs. The place was like a secret grotto full with diners and drinkers like an undiscovered cavern. Having had an 'ok' night in town I only wish I had spent the whole evening here. I would recommend the entire experience to anyone - everything from the fabulous rooms to the hidden subterranean world just a flight of stairs away. Stay here and you'll be very glad you did.

Great breakfast, staff were amazing, really attentive I will certainly return A++++
