Hotel Kohlmais

In my opinion best hotel in Saalbach. Very cozy and friendly environment. The lift down to the "schi raum" is a huge plus. Rooms are clean and up-to-date. Dining restaurant has a blissfull view of the Schattberg X-press which makes the already excellent food just taste even better.

Super perfect Hotel for families and so nice service, you feel welcome. And really great food at the restaurant, the breakfast have everything and the evening dinner is delicious. Children have their own food. The outside pool was warm and comfortable

In our opinion as a group of girls, this is by far the best hotel in Saalbach! Spotlessly clean, stylish decor, really comfy beds, fabulous staff, great location, brilliant management/ owners, superb wellness and the most amazing food which is always the highlight of our holiday. By day 3 our ski pants are tight by the end of the week we need a new wardrobe … and it’s so worth it! This is our 3rd time staying here and we’ve just confirmed our 4th stay again for next year 2025. We absolutely love it and everyone at the Kohlmais 🥰

Great location, great hotel, great and friendly service. If you are looking for a central boutique style hotel that has it all look no further. It’s right opposite of the ski lift and in the center of Saalbach. My room was spacey and well fitted. The wellnesss area is stunning for a small hotel and their food delicious. Plus their service makes you feel like at home. Everyone is warm and friendly. It was a great experience.

Location is spot on: in the village, very close by the skilift, very close by the après ski. Hotel: food is the best, rooms are cosy and comfortable (we had a renovated room), wellness and pool were nice and clean. Staff: very friendly and helpful.

I returned the second time in two years in a row. An excellent location, qualified personnel, kind, attentive to details. Varied menu, exemplary cleaning, modern, spacious rooms. Spa with relax. It is invested every year to improve comfort. Congratulations to all. A modern atmosphere.

Just returned from an amazing weeks skiing in Saalbach. Could not fault kholmais in any way. Absolutely fabulous hotel. We had two rooms at the back on level 5 which were quiet. Our rooms had recently been renovated so were modern with plenty of room and storage space. The food was amazing, house wine great and staff so friendly and helpful. Have to mention the boot room! One of the best I’ve been in. Hope we can stay again next year.

Everything looked good from the start. Hotel opposite the ski lift. Friendly and helpful staff. Large comfortable, quiet room overlooking the valley. Comfortable beds. Wellness area with outdoor and indoor swimming pool. Finally, the food - delicious and varied. I really recommend this place.

Really fantastic stay with great food, attentive service in the restaurant and really good outdoor pool and sauna. The hotel is not like a large chain with very keen managers trying to impress you, instead it is family run and any requests made such as changing pillows is instantly dealt with. Really relaxing.
