We had a fabulous time. The only thing wrong was our TV didn't work. It kept shutting off and on. Otherwise perfect stay!

This place is amazing! The entire staff was so very welcoming and nice! The service was outstanding!

Very comfortable bed, easy to get in after hours, great location to visit our daughter at The Farm at Doe Run

This is a wonderful historic property that has maintained the original character while offering quality comfortable beds and rooms, clean and wonderful dining areas. I recommend, it particular if you enjoy historic properties.

The rooms were clean and furniture well kept. No grab bars in shower or near toliet. About 15 old stsirs to vlimb ftom 1st to 2nd floor. Not handicap accessible. The food was excellent.

The Inn is beautiful and the staff is friendly. It took a while to get checked in, however. The bar and restaurant are lovely, as well as the rooms. It could be quite noisy in the evening but got quiet later in the evening. The restaurant is not open in the early morning, so “breakfast” is provided but it is extremely basic with coffee, juice, bagels and English muffins. There’s no variety and zero protein that leaves you quite hungry. I think adding maybe some Greek yogurt, hard boiled eggs or some other choices of protein would help. There’s no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms, so packing your own food is not an option and no place to store and reheat leftovers. Be prepared to carry any luggage or other items up a long, concrete ramp, through the bar area and up flights of stairs, depending on where your room is located. They did offer help with luggage going up, which was great but not when you check out. We placed the “Do not disturb” sign on the door but housekeeping still entrees our room to empty tears and replace towels. This didn’t sit will with us, as we had our sign up for a reason. It is an Inn and it’s understandable that many things a hotel would offer the Inn does not. The Inn is just beautiful and the food in the restaurant was good. Staff, again, was good.

To be honest, we only booked our room here because it was close to an event we were attending. But WOW! This is a great place! Really neat historical hotel. Our room was decorated with history in mind, so it looked like you walked back in time. However - everything was modern and very up-to-date. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was great - huge shower! The staff (everyone) was friendly and helpful. After the event, we had a drink at the bar and chatted with some very friendly locals. The beer selection was amazing. The dinner menu looked delicious - but we didn't have the opportunity to try it. We'll have to come back!

Not Perfect but for Price Charged, Excellent! Great History, Room, Bed, Bathroom, Staff, Food, Cocktails and Free Breakfast. My room was directly over the bar but I slept like a Sloth; no problem. Very nice people and breakfast of bagels, muffins, butter, cream cheese and surely home-made jam was fabu! Good coffee as well.. Def coming back..

Lovely old inn in quiet location. Charming rooms with modern bath. Fun bar area and continental breakfast included.
