ハンプトン イン セント オーガスティン -I-95

Selected this property since we have found Hampton Inn to be good value and this one was an easy on and off I95. Somehow the on-line ratings in no way reflected our experience. This property is dated and in need of major renovation - or to be rebranded as Ed's Beds. Definitely NOT at Hilton standard. Lots of other options in town to try. POSITIVES 1. Jason was polite and helpful at checkin 2. Price for one night was good 3. Beds and 3 pillows were comfortable 4. Refrigerator and microwave worked UNFORTUNATELY 1. Handle on sink loose and hard to get cold water 2. Smoke detector started chirping in middle of night and woke us 3. Worse than smoke detector was the VERY NOISE air-conditioning unit which could not be turned off due to high outdoor temps - made sleeping tough 4. Carpeting in halls very dirty 5. Of the 4 floors could only find 1 with an ice maker which was operational. Was a known problem with 2 having out of order signs. 6. Tap water had a discusting sulphur taste so went to car to get bottled water 7. While both elevators in service one kept hanging up - opening and closing door. Ended up walking down stairs. 8. Milk put on cereal was sour. Asked for replacement but it too apparently came from same bottle since it too was sour. No cereal that morning.

This hotel is run down as all the hampton inn hotels in St Augustine,It is very difficult to get to due to large scale roadworks and rebuilding a hotel next dore so it is like staying on a construction site,The rooms are small but with a very large tv,The whole place looked grungy and the breakfast was not up to scratch,We were due to stay for 2 nights but checked out after the first night of a prepaid stay so still charged for 2 nights,There must be better hotels than this in St Augustine,We have stayed at Hampton Inn many times and this has got to be one of the worst.

Fairly decent hotel close to I-95 and Buc-ee’s. Clean. No moldy smells, which I have encountered in coastal hotels. Reasonable breakfast spread with hot and cold options. Good coffee. Worst part of the stay was the shower. Tedious at best. Newly renovated room and the shower head was broken (?). Water was trickling out. Everything else was satisfactory.

Very nice hotel. The entire place had great appearance at exterior, interior, and rooms. Front desk Natalie was very professional, helpful and always offered a friendly smile. There is nothing better than getting a friendly welcome. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is clean. It is very near the interstate and historical St. Augustine. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They provide a continental breakfast. The gym leaves a little bit to be desired. There are only a treadmill and bicycle in the gym. The TV was not working when we were there. But, if all you are looking for is a clean safe place to sleep that is near I-95 and St. Augustine historical district, I would recommend you consider this hotel. It is family friendly and easy on the budget.

We booked two nights here. Hugh mistake. Our quoted rate was $104 per night but they charged us $334.00 for two nights. Before we booked it we called the property to guarentee a room on the ground floor ( due to disability and having a service dog) and that there was a microwave and fridge which they promised us. When we arrived they claim to ONLY have a second or third floor room. The microwave was so tiny it literally turns OFF and ON. The fridge was Really Small. It won't hold a 6 pack. Wasn't cold ..barely cool. Then the room was really dirty everywhere ( see photos). . The sheets had stains on them. The carpet had dirty spots too and so did the shades and switches. The bathroom had black spots in the tub.( Not sure what that was.) This hotel is in a really Bad/ not safe area. Two closed businesses next door. I was afraid to go outside after dark. I recommend that you stay anywhere but NOT HERE. Read all the hotel reviews here on trip advisor and on Google reviews and on Yelp. BTW ...Unless you have a service dog they will charge you $50 per dog & per night.

I stayed between November 10 and the 13th 2023. I was greeted by Corey who was running the front desk whe I arrived. He was upbeat and friendly. Corey checked me in with efficiency and a smile. I went to my room, 101, at the time it was the only one available. I was hit with a strong must and mold smell. I stayed in that room that night. When I got up the next morning I left and went to see my sister who has been in firmed for over a year. When I returned it was late and didn't feel like changing rooms, however I think the hotel may have been sold out that night also. The next morning I spoke with Corey and he changed my room to 309. The Ironing board and the thermostat was broken. I let the desk clerk know the next morning. If it wasn't for Corey's professionalism and hospitality the hotel would have rated a 2 or 3. That is because the mold and mildew issues have been mentioned in other reviews and still not taken care. Time to rip the carpet out and check inside the walls.

Very clean nice bright room. Comfy bed. The staff very nice. Sharon the manager very nice and efficient. Good at breakfast bar good and area kept clean. Good location right off 95. I would highly recommend this place .,

Very good service. Excellent location. Quiet. Difficult access from highway. Poor parking lot sidewalks. Felt unsafe. Small exercise room. Poor breakfast. Poor internet. Not a good value overall, but ok in a pinch.
