Nice and clean but noisy in the hallway

I had a good stay in the Motel. My room was spacious and clean. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Carpets in hallway are a bit old. The TV in my room didn't have proper remote so i had to "press buttons" on tv itself. Otherwise, I had a good stay in the motel.

If you need somewhere to only sleep, this will be decent.. no more than that. Run down, and limited hot water. Wifi connection also very poor.

Comfortable clean beds. Chain lock was missing on our door for extra security. The worst was the extremely slippery bathtubs in both rooms we stayed in, we felt as if we were on ice. We were all extra careful while taking our showers, it was very worrisome as my roommate is 70 years old and the other person also older in other room as health (mobility) issues I was very worried that one of them would fall in shower or myself for that matter. None of us lingered in shower we just wanted to be get our shower done and out of there safely. On the plus side there was very good water pressure in showers. When signing in at counter I asked the person at counter if both rooms were one beside the other, he replied yes but when we got to second floor where are rooms were the rooms were not beside one another they were a few doors down from one another not sure why he said yes when asked. We also found a good size piece of papers that was missed from previous people renting this room that was behind the little table in between both beds. We found it because we had to move the table searching for a plug-ins for my roommate to use her CPAP machine since there were no plug-in at all in wall where that table was there was only plug-ins on the other sides of both beds on either sides (corner) of rooms.

The surrounding area is good, close to groceries and restaurants. However, when we got to the hotel. The can't find my reservation, and I booked 2 rooms. And yes, my reservation says confirmed on ******* site. It was a long weekend, and we drove all the way from Toronto. So it was inconvenience that they couldn't find my reservation. I've been booking from ******* for a long time and been a long time customer here and this is the first time that had happen to me. I was shocked that it was even possible. So now I make sure I contact all my bookings to confirm! Lesson learn here! Good thing the owner or manager there found a solution but I had to really express to him that we drove all the way here for nothing. The double occupancy rooms were fully book on the weekend (long weekend), so we had to change room but he just gave us an upgrade rooms with the same rate. About the room, just need vacuuming, and dusting. Bathroom is too small to move around. Towels provided was only for 2, they should know to put more when you check in because they see more people are staying in the room. Overall, I was traumatized from my check in process, so now I have to always confirm with the hotel directly.

For the price can’t complain , a lot of commodities around the area

Hairs on pillows, hairs inside bed sheets, one dead insect inside night table, one dead insect in entry room corder, 2 folding chairs and one unstable weak camp table, dirt and rocks on the floor, need slippers or sandals for walking in the room, strong fresh paint odour inside bathroom, paint not dry in bathroom, green tape still on bathroom lights, two shower curtain hooks missing, exterior airflow passing by side of external door, dirty air conditioning front panel with brown dust, only one night table for two adults, old grand parents smell inside standalone closet, no cleaning service inside our room for 3 nights, clean towels available if customer ask for it, must get out garbage can outside room to get new empty bag, every light have a different lightbulb, only one pillow per adult, pillows are too soft and no head support at all, no sign to hang outside the door for quiet time, hair dryer has been removed from his socket and he was hanging by the cord, a lot of dust on standalone closet, small plastic phone on top of standalone closet and short phone cable, no place to sit down for talking on the bedroom phone… Mastress is comfortable and wifi is good. We had a roof over our head. Refrigerator is fonctionnal. TV cable is acceptable with old school purple and yellow guide menu. Physical key is nice for a vintage feeling, toilet was clean and there was a working air fan inside bathroom. Cheap price, two stars hotel, need to have low expectations.

We arrived late in the evening (just shortly before midnight), and there was no staff available (with a sign « de retour en 15 minutes », which we ended up waiting for more than that. The motel condition (corridors and decor) was a bit run-down, and a bit sketchy. Though the room is well-equipped and mostly clean (as far as we can see). Plentiful washroom supplies which was nice. Some of the lightbulbs were not working (flashing in the middle of the night or just simply wouldn’t turn on), which can be frightening. Fridge was not working well. Next morning when we checked out, the same situation happened (with sign this time « de retour en 20 minutes »). No one was there to help our check-out process despite we were in a rush. There was free coffee available which was appreciated, but no other condiments.

Nothing fancy here but good for a one night stay. Place is old but clean overall. The bed was big and comfortable and we had a great night of sleep. The amenities advertised are not too accurate. Restaurant and breakfast were not available the morning we stayed there and we usually base our hotel room rental choice with these two options because I like a quick coffee and breakfast in the morning. The room didn’t have a coffee machine either so I was out of luck.
