Hotel Best Mediterraneo

We arrived at 10.00 am this morning And the receptionist was very frosty in her attitude. We were told our room would be ready by 13.00 hrs. At 13.oo hrs we were told it would be ready for 14.00 hrs even though check in was advertised for 13.00 hrs. Were not at all impressed with the hotel staff at all. Danny and Gwen Liverpool

Absolutely beautiful hotel so clean how this is only 3* I don't know definitely deserves more stars all the staff are friendly the cleaners do an amazing job cleaning rooms daily changing all towels the fresh smell in the hotel when u walk in is beautiful cannot fault this place next time we stay we are staying all inclusive and we can't wait.

Spotlessly clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff, food was varied and plentiful. Was always music by the pool and nightly entertainment in bar/club area, mainly Spanish music but hey it's Spain and you are encouraged to join in if you wish. We had a great time.

Honest review, , came for a week breakfast is okay, for tea go else where as all they seem to do is fish, hamburgers, hotdogs and chips that are probably warm ups from dinner, and way too much salad stuff, the pool is nice and big but never no one in it which I think because they don’t allow lilos or beach balls to play with, they never play no music at the pool so it’s always quiet and boring which could be another reason why people don’t stay there.SPEAKING FOR ALL THE BRITS WHEN I SAY THIS!! but if your not Spanish stay away don’t bother coming, as for the entertainment all they do is stuff for there own the week we was here not once was there anything for the English, music was all Spanish, karaoke was Spanish music it got that bad I had to put in a complaint, one night they have bingo night It’s a bit of fun but I don’t see the point in it as the prizes you win are for 1 line a free cocktail and for a house free bottle of champagne, which is already free for the people that come all inclusive. just be careful with what you leave on show in your room as the maid left our door wide open luckily nothing was taken, they took our toilet seat off for no reason we had to report this, the lifts are a joke way to slow better taking stairs, people at reception seem okay, everyone who works in the restaurant are moody and no manners,, nothing really about near the hotel that you can go to, the beach is about 10mins walk which is nice, rooms are clean, fridge in room which is handy, the maids decided not to clean our room the day before we went which wasn’t good as we had no clean towels, toilet roll and hand towels, safe in wardrobe which is handy for locking away your personal items, i don’t think we’ll come to this hotel again mainly because the food isn’t great and the entertainment every night is just for the Spanish, the week we came for there wasn’t a day we enjoyed, the manager just needs to cater for all cultures instead of Spanish, and make the food better then it’ll be a nice hotel to stay at. If the entertainment was better, and better rules by the pool it would deserve more stars but for this reason i personally think it deserves 1

The hotel was fabulous, nice and clean, staff were very nice and friendly , food was good plenty to choose from , it was close to the beach and shops ,entertainment was great too for the kids and the adults ,would definitely book again and definitely recommend it .

If you can find a spot of dirt in this hotel you would be making the mess yourself! Absolutely spotlessly clean!! Check in was very easy although the staff don't seem too happy to be working at reception. The bar staff are absolutely brilliant main man David in particular was so helpful. Rooms are brilliant nice big private balcony with a view of the theme parks 😍 Not sure about the complaints about the food as we found it absolutely spot on. Plenty to choose from, maybe just a bit lukewarm for some things but wont complain! The only complaint here is the lifts. They have to be the slowest I have experienced before. Would press and have to wait over 5 minutes at times. When we was in and pressed to go to the restaurant once it actually went down to 3 then back to 4 and then too -1. Not sure what sort of system it was! I have nothing to moan about though I would 100% come back tomorrow if I could! Not sure how it is only 3* but its brilliantly priced and I have stayed in 5* hotels that was worse !

Travelled to this hotel with Jet2 for 4 nights second week in April with a friend. We arrived at the hotel at approx 12midday and were allowed to check in straight away. First impressions, the hotel looks lovely and clean. We did find reception staff weren't overly friendly or talkative and this was the same throughout our stay. We went all inclusive and we found the food nice, if your down at the restaurant straight away when it opens the food does be warm enough and we found the waiter staff so friendly and were super quick to serve you your drinks and clean tables then. I was given a room on the 6th floor. I used the stairs all the time as the lifts are both slow and busy. Dispite reviews that there is not enough storage space i was given a room with loads of storage space and the room itself was massive. I was well pleased. As stated above we didnt think reception staff were as friendly as could of been and this too goes to the cleaners. A simple Hola back to use would of been nice. However all the bar staff, and restaurant staff were as frendly and helpful as you get. I was also took back by the a member of staff in the restaurant that remembered my name and room number during my staff it was lovely. The hotel too is suited just a ten min walk into the town. We dont know what entertainment was like as we went out to experience other places too. Overall a great hotel id rate 8 out of 10 (minis two points because of reception and cleaning staff) but we would stay here again without a doubt and hopefully we will very soon.

First time to Salu,I'm normally a Costa girl..this was gorgeous,Hotel just at edge of it all happening,ideal location,rooms spotless,food very nice,..lovely place for a 4 day break,will def return....

We arrived around lunchtime and was told our room would be ready for 2.30/3 and we could leave our cases in a secure room and we're given our wristbands (all inclusive), we had no issue with this. The room is small but worked fine for us (myself husband and our 2.5 year old) not much on the way of storage though but we managed fine. Aircon wasn't great at all, it just kept it cool enough to sleep but only just. Balcony out to the pool/seating area, across from a nightclub, the only night we really heard it was our last night as we went bed earlier than other nights. Entertainment/music stops around 11.30 ish. Lifts are rediculously slow! We asked for a second floor room after reading about the slow lifts which helped a little by using stairs when we could, little man still uses his pushchair so we did need to use the lifts a few times a day. Shower in the room was lovely and worked well. Fresh towels every day. Food was in my opinion is what you'd expect in a 3*. Some live cooking stations, fresh pizza always coming out, everything was restocked quickly, staff always watching and radioing through what was needed etc. For lunch and evening meal beer is served from a bottle and you get a full bottle of wine (both opened in front of you). There's lots to choose from and you won't go hungry, I never had anything that was actually cold like I have previously read, yes some dishes go cooler quicker. They seemed to have theme nights most night food wise, things like Spanish, seafood, Asian etc. Breakfast was lovely as were the fresh made pancakes and omelettes. The pool/outside area doesn't get opened till 9.30 which worked for us, I know some want to get out at the crack of dawn but the reality is nobody wants a sunbed war so it did work. We'd often go down around 10.30/11 and find beds around the kids pool no issue. Pool bar everyone was very friendly. The biggest queue we had for drinks was maybe 5 people in front of us, so absolutely no complaints, we just never saw big queues. You can help yourself to water, soft drinks sangria and beer which obviously helps to stop queues at the bar. Pool snacks were lovely served between meal times, but you can order during meal times at a cost (€5ish), snacks were things like toasties, chips burgers and hotdogs. I think they were 4 different icecreams and lollies on the AI all were lovely and proper ones like nestle Cornetto style ones, but they had others you can purchase. Short walk down a little hill for the main *****s (bit of a killer in the heat with a pushchair coming back!). We found salou very busy, too busy for our liking. I didn't dare let my son out of his pushchair as I was terrified he'd slip from my hand and I'd lose him. Lots of very busy bars and burger style places but not many traditional food places. We tried xantar restaurant and was not impressed. Uncle Sams an American style restaurant was lovely though, Philly cheesesteak baguette was delicious. All in all a good holiday, lo
