ホテル ガストホフ モストヴァシュト(Hotel Gasthof Mostwastl)

It was my first time in a Gasthof, and this one was a very good suprise, the room was very clean, and had a gigantic shower, the view to the Bavarian Alps was amazing. The restaurant is very Austrian traditional with fabulous food, the family that runs this Gasthof is really friendly and helpful, very good place for resting after bycicle trips. Overall was an amazing experience and i know were to stay next time when visiting Salzburg. Ps take bus number 5 , takes 20 min to city center.

The staff are all friendly, helpful, and very hospitable. The breakfast was lovely, and we also dined at the restaurant for dinner, which was delicious. The balcony opened on a gorgeous view of the mountainside. Please note, the property does not have an elevator, so you'll need to carry your things up one flight of stairs. But this was one of our favorite stays on this trip, and it centrally located for visits to Salzburg, Hallstatt, and Berchtesgaden.

Our extended family has been eating and staying here for over 50 years!! Excellent family run hotel - good service and food and value for the cost. Excellent location for walking to Hellbrun Castle where part of the Sound of Music was filmed and other well known places.

We stayed for one night, was looking for a typical austrian gasthaus...an dthe hotel fullfiled all we wished for. Large and clean room. Very god local food

Wir waren zum Abendessen ohne Reservierung an eine Mittwoch hier. Mittwochs haben in Salzburg viele Wirte Ruhetag, aber nicht der Mostwastel. Das Essen ist gut, der Service zuvorkommend und das Restaurant in professionellem Zustand. Wer es traditionell mag, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Netter Gasthof mit sehr schönen Zimmern. Große Speisekarte, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei- große freundliche Räumlichkeiten sehr empfehlenswert bei einem Salzburg Besuch.Sehr schöne geräumige Zimmer

Wir waren zum Essen nach dem Zoo Besuch hier. Ein Zwiebelrostbraten der hier „gedünstete“ zubereitet wird! Pommes schmeckten nach altem Fett. Also zum Essen kann man das Gasthaus beim besten Willen nicht empfehlen. Schade das der Nachbar Ruhetag hatte.

Wir waren vom 24. - 25. September für eine Nacht in diesem Hotel. Ambienente ist sehr gut. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Was das Essen angeht sehr reichhaltige Auswahl an österreichischen Speisen. Wir hatten bei der Übernachtung ein Frühstück dabei. Es gibt dort von Marmelade bis Wurst eine große Auswahl. Heißgetränke wie Kaffee auch.
