エル ビアヘロ ホステル サン アンドレス(Viajero San Andres Hostel)

The place was extremely old. Private room was not even worth $10. Dirty and misrepresent by pictures. Worst part BIG MOLD on the wall. It was only a bed in a space . Do not stay there at any cost.

The service was so disrespectful, consistently. So rude. The wifi ****** (apparently not great on the island), no hot water (apparently not great on the island), they run the AC only at night (like, its hot in the day???) and are always late turning it on. Just so lame overall. No privacy curtains like other Viajeros, shorter lockers than others... ants on the wall... I travel full time and this place ******.

This hostel conveniently offers everything you would never want during your stay. The bathroom looks like a jail cell, the toilet doesn’t even flush every time. I arrived tired and not feeling great and they made me go get cash to pay and didn’t give me an option to pay with card or at a later time. There’s literally some sort of construction going on in the entrance that you have to walk through to get in or out and it’s so loud I can hear it from my room on the 3rd floor. The shower in the room is so bad that I almost used the common shower only to find it’s even worse. The only good thing about this hostel is the other travelers that also got tricked into booking this miserable excuse for a hostel. In conclusion please never book this hostel it’s so bad I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. This is the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed at.

The pictures on the website are out dated. It doesn't look at all as advertised. It's not the prettiest nor the ugliest but could be better. We arrived at 1:10pm and requested for an early check in (i've had it with other hostels and hotels and no problem). They said mandatory at 2pm. The girls at the reception could be nicer. We went back at 2pm and it took them 30minutes for the check in, the room was clearly ready when we got there. Keeping this in mind, we didn’t get the towels by the check in, so much for waiting without towels. The private room is spacious, the A/C works perfectly, the bathroom doesnt have hot water(at night the water is freezing!). The breakfast would be a 4/10, coffee as bad as it could be. Not even free water by breakfast. For breakfast included you have to go EVERY morning downstairs to get a ticket. Maybe you could give a card or something to not make us go down. We got back from the beach at sunset and waited 5minutes for the door to open because the receptionist was talking with some people. Location is perfect, you have the pier by the army less than 5min walking, the malecon 8minutes walking. With some upgrades the hostel could be way more.

Dis recommendation! I never leave a review but that was too much. We invited a private room for 2 people in the cost of 60$ (USD) per night. The hostel insure in the booking site there is a great WIFI and the included breakfast is excellent. The WIFI didn't work at all, in the room and the lobby. The breakfast was a slice of bread and cheese thats it. In addition there wasn't hot water in the shower. In top of all that we got robbed from our room, someone entered into our room (which was private, not dorms) and stole our stuff. when the police came and saw the camera records there was a gap of 8 minutes at the exact moment when the cleaning lady opened our room. The manager of the place Francisco didn't help us and tried to release himself from responsibility. After all this situation we tried to cancel the rest nights of our stay but the manager insisted we need to cancel the reservation from booking and made everything much harder. In conclusion i strongly recommend *Dont book a reservation in Viajero San Andres Hostel*!! (The police was there 2 days in a row after a few robberies)

El staff es lo mejor que tiene. Juliana es una host excelente. Buen humor y buenos consejos de primera mano para conocer la isla. Norelis te prepara el desayuno considerando alergias. Ximena y Kelita se encargaron de recibirnos con todas las atenciones. El resto del staff 100 puntos. Post checkout service el mejor que he tenido. No sólo cuidaron nuestras maletas sino que tambien podes bañarte y descansar. Gracias jovenes...

É bem localizado. Tem um ótimo bar no terraço no último andar, boa vista, café da manhã ótimo, atividades noturnas show. É um hostel animado. Só não gostei da sujeira deixada pelos corredores por alguns hospedes.

El hostel con la mejor onda de San Andrés!!! Nuestro hogar por unas semanas, nos hicieron sentir como en casa!! Gracias por tanto amor! Las instalaciones excelentes, súper cómodas. Los espacios comunes, el mejor lugar donde conocer gente de todo el mundo!! Fry, Kewin y Ale, Juli, Alejandro, GRACIAS DE CORAZÓN!! Hicieron que nuestra estadía sea soñada! Y las clases de baile de Kevin, ufffff, lograron que nuestro esqueleto no pare de moverse 😅
