The state of the room seemed as if it had not been cleaned in many days. Lots of dust on side tables. The bathroom walls and floors, and the shower was heavily stained and looked as if it had not been cleaned properly ever. No hand soap, just a face wash bar soap. We had to ask for a key to the mini bar fridge and the fridge was warm when opened. Requested ice and we got a ziplock baggie of ice that was so dirty we could see the dirt as it melted. Ordered room service and half the food was stale. The bedding was just a duvet with two sheets, one above and one below it as the duvet cover, not an actual duvet cover. Tv was so old you basically can’t see anything even with all the lights in the room off. They played jazz in the hallways which is fine but the doors had no insulation around it and we could hear the jazz when trying to sleep. For a luxury hotel, it looked like the room had not been updated since the early 2000s. For the price I paid, this was a truly terrible experience. Thought I was getting a 4-star Marriott experience and got the worst motel experience ever. The best part of my stay was checking out.
