ブティック & グルメ ホテル オルソ グリージョ(Boutique & Gourmet Hotel Orso Grigio)

The convenience is obvious, you are in the center of San Candido, an elegant resort in Val Venosta with shops, restaurants and sport equipment venues of all sorts. The rooms are comfortable, nice large bathrooms and modern wood paneling makes for a cosy and neat space. The restaurant is the best part of the experience if you decide to opt for the half board: every evening three different menus, vast well sorted salads and cheese buffet, service discrete but never stiff, dishes are creative, beautifully presented and VERY good. The owner even organised a wine tasting for the guests. Value is also an attribute I would choose here because you have free steam bath and sauna, absolute silence and fast free internet, plus a snow shoes all day event with a professional guide. So everything was perfect ? Almost, the only minor observation: the charger for our Tesla was capable of working with 22 KW but was limited at 4, meaning longer charging times. No biggie. Great experience, recommended.

This hotel is fabulous - the staff are really warm and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble! The dining room is candlelit, which makes a wonderful atmosphere. The food is fabulous at both breakfast and dinner. Lovely touches everyday with cake and aperitif or hot wine. A really relaxing experience. Bedroom was lovely, brilliant shower. Real fire in lobby and a gentle soft atmosphere to sit and read a book with an aperitif. The owner Franz is charming and engaging and takes time to talk to all of the guests. Really worth a visit for a truly relaxing getaway in a pretty town in the mountains.

Perfection ! We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel and it was an amazing experience at San Candido. Receptionist and the Owner greated us upon entry with a big smile and ready to help. We asked for some tips around the small town and was offered a free bike rental which we did take. Also we opted for the wine tasting with the owner himself and it was a fantastic experience. Beds were very comfortable and hotel room view was amazing. The room was spotless. Will definitely return to this hotel once at San Candido :)!

There are no words that can be enough to describe our stay here. Everything was excellent !!!!! First let start with San Candido, a town out of a story book. And in the middle is this hotel. We met the owner Frantz, who is everyday there greeting and make sure you have a great stay. Rooms are impeccable and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and professional and they are willing to help you with anything you need. Breakfast is superb. Very nice ambience, great selection and abundant. They include the renting of bicycles and we used them to ride 40 miles to Leinz in Austria. This ia a must do. Very close to all the mountain attractions. We will definitely come back.

The service on this hotel was exceptional. Sofia was very helpful and she always smiled while helping me. The location was right in the center and the beds were very comfortable. The tea snacks at 4 pm were also a treat. Simply a great hotel to stay at.

Superb hotel ,stopped there by chance and Sophia realy helped my friend and I get a lovely room each at short notice! We were so pleased with our gorgeous rooms they we large and very comfortable and very clean!,we enjoyed our stay there and Sophia realy made us welcome and couldn’t do enough for us,she is an absolute asset to the hotel. Unfortunately we only had one night there but the fantastic breakfast helped us on our way! Well done to all at this hotel,great job!

ASSOLUTAMENTE PERFETTA. Ambiente raffinato e familiare, accolti da una qualificata concierge SOFIA. Ci ha fatto sistemare e messo a disposizione tutto l'occorrente per il nostro neonato (2 mesi). Serate magnifiche con una cucina ricercata e sorprendente, coccolati da Cristina...una vera eccellenza per eleganza, senso dell'accoglienza e simpatia. L'attenzione verso il cliente è il credo di Orso Grigio. Ci ritorneremo!!!!!!!!

This cozy hotel is perfectly located in San Candido. The staff are very nice and you are well taken care of. The food, the service and the pleasant atmosphere make the stay perfect. We experienced wine tasting and got good hiking tips from manager Franz. We will be happy to go back.

A warm, small and refined place where the host Franz and his team are aligned to each other to level up your vacation. They all exceeded our expectations in hospitality by their thoughtfulness, kindness, devotion and generosity. The staff made sure to make us feel welcome at any given moment, a little chat with them always made Orso Grigio feel like a home during our stay. Also, we were overwhelmed by their sophisticated delicious dining and intimate wine tasting with the owner. Thank you for giving us an unforgettable experience! A place we recommend to everyone. A place we will long remember.
