Very clean rooms and facilities! The staff were super friendly and helpful with any questions regarding San Ignacio. The rum punch welcome drinks were a perfect way to sit on the patio and relax. Hotel has a community water station and well stocked bar. We will stay here again.

The hotel is in a great central location convenient for several restaurants. Very good reception on arrival. Rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean and modern. Everything about the room oozes quality with premium furniture, comfortable bed, good quality toiletries, large tv with streaming facilities. Room is well equipped with air conditioning, fan, refrigerator, coffee machine and safe; there is filtered water available 24 hours a day. The hotel does not provide breakfast but there are several good options within five minutes’ walk. There is a bar area with seating for relaxing in the evening. This was one of the best accommodations of our Central America trip.

The hotel is modern and beautifully updated. It had only been open about 6 months when we visited the 1st week of December. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. They would call ahead and book dinner reservations for us. Only caution is the hotel is up a flight of stairs, with no elevator. However, the staff came outside in the pouring rain to offer us assistance with luggage. Downstairs, and affiliated with the hotel is a wonderful coffee shop where we enjoyed some delicious afternoon treats and lattes. The hotel has an open air lobby sitting area where you can order a cocktail and sit to enjoy it and visit. Not sure what it will be like in the the hat season as we it rained most of the time we were there.

Hotel is new, clean, very comfortable, great beds and pillows but it is the amazing staff that makes the guests feel amazing. Everyone goes out of their way to take care of the guests. Highly recommend this place. Oh, their rum punch is so welcome after a long day of exploration. Sitting on the terrace and sipping rum punch is the best.

Well managed hotel Courteous and helpful staff Good location…welcome drink was nice. Walking distance to restaurants and downtown Spacious and clean room with nice balcony with sitting area…beds are amazingly comfortable. Bathroom and facilities are new. No breakfast but there is a good (expensive ) coffee shop downstairs

My cousin and I stayed here over the weekend for my birthday and we had an amazing time! The service from the staff was great from we arrived up until we left. They are located right around the Welcome Center, so the location is great. Also, the room was spacious and clean. Definitely recommend The West House! 😊 Side note: The espresso martini is 10/10 😁
