Very disappointed. Guy on reception who checked us in was fab. Rest of staff were rude and unhelpful. Cocktail bar wasn’t open. Could not have drink round the pool. This was beginning of June in 30 degree heat. In my opinion did not meet 4 stars. Also building work going on, not peaceful whilst at the pool. No mention of this. The pool was vey clean nice to swim in. Rooms were very clean. We did not eat evening meal. We paid for breakfast lot of choice was nice. Below our balcony was staff entrance where they went on breaks, very strong smell of **** when sat on our balcony. Would not return.

Nice hotel very nice food and an excellent location with views over the golf course and near tram stops too if you need to get into the city.Nice staff but we got back from a night out and the bar was closed but given the location we would use this again .

Comfy bed, good breakfast, nice golf course. The big let down which down graded my rating from very good to average was due to the attitude of the security man on the night of Sunday 24th March We had brought a round of drinks and sat down to enjoy them when he came up to us and said that we had to leave as the bar closes at midnight. His attitude and manner was rude unprofessional and this put a sour taste in our mouths. If he had explained that the bar was closing and would we mind moving over to the seats in the reception area to finish our drinks we would have gladly complied. He did the same to a couple at a table next to us who were also annoyed at his attitude. Some training definitely needed here.

We booked a 3 day break at Christmas but unfortunately my husband got flu so we had to postpone our visit until later in January. I was a little apprehensive as I had recently read some negative reviews, but my fears were totally unfounded as on arrival we could not have had a better room. We had booked a superior room and it was situated on a corner with a huge wrap around balcony and a beautiful view of the lakes on the golf course. The room was a very good size with a comfortable bed and large bathroom with a good size bath. We had booked dinner each night and the food was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly the young lady at reception who booked us in. We would not hesitate to recommend the hotel and would certainly stay again if we were in the area.

We booked a suite & expected luxury but were disappointed with the tired decor. We had a scabby looking spa bath on our balcony which the kids were excited to use until they saw the brown water. The staff weren’t particularly friendly - the service was poor. The golf resort adjacent to the hotel had a scabby driving range & not many facilities for families. The area wasn’t great, not much in walking distance.

The hotel is magnificent but they need to fire the chef. A chef that cannot cook a simple burger does not belong in the kitchen! The Angus burger arrived raw....I sent it back, it arrived microwaved into a golf ball. !!!

We have stayed here many times but unfortunately disappointed with our stay this time because of charging us for using beverages in the minibar. When we checked out I stated we had not used anything but the next day I they automatically charged my credit card for beverages we had not used. I sent several emails complaining and finally got an answer that they were going to check this out. They have not answered further as to crediting the invoice they sent. This is bad customer service and a way to lose future customers . Recommend taking pictures of the minibar contents on arrival and departure if you decide to take a chance on staying here.

Hotel Alicante Golf was a marvelous oasis in a busy touristy area. The staff was so friendly, efficient, accomodating, spoke English, and very helpful. The hotel was very classy, modern, comfortable in every way, the room wonderful, comfy clean bed, immense lux towels, great shower, and a restaurant woth flexible hours, delicious food & service, and an outdoor terrace with a lovely view. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely return.

Lovely place and area is beautiful. Can’t wait to come back
