Its a very clean hotel with many places to eat within walking distance as well as a movie theater, grocery store, and pharmacy down the street. It has a nice restaurant and rooftop pool that is very relaxing. The room was clean and had an ice maker, large sink and refrigerator. The only things I would improve are the lighting in the rooms - its somewhat dim if you need to do some work - they only have lamps and one small accent light in the ceiling - at least in the room I was in. The bathroom sink in my room was very small- couldn't hold toothbrush, razor, etc on it like most sinks. Those are small inconveniences - overall it's a very nice place to stay, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the location was great.

Not only is Don Rafa a fantastic boutique hotel, the staff is incredible at making guests feel welcome and special! A true gem in San Juan. We loved it.

Beautiful property with art deco style. We were very comfortable, the staff was very attentive and the social spaces are beautiful and unique.

We loved the hotel and the neighborhood it was in. Miramar is not a tourist haven, it is San Juan with shops and restaurants. The hotel was unique with a very good restaurant, a beautiful bar and lounge and a friendly staff. Wi.Fi was a bit sporadic and a dresser in the rooms would not hurt, but we would go back in a minute.

The room lacked clothes storage and was a dark blue. The staff was wonderful and gave us a bright lovely room.

Loved this boutique hotel and the staff’s warm hospitality! I would have preferred a better location but most places were walkable so that worked out. The decor and general vibe were truly fantastic. Also quiet.

A jewel in the heart of Miramar. Close to Condado and Old San Juan. We really enjoyed our stay there and we will be back. Excellent service and attention to details.

The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful. The bar area downstairs is nice and the room was spacious. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great and the temperature a bit erratic. It was unfortunate that a loud group of people were staying on the same floor as us, and as a result it was very noisy. But overall it is somewhere I would recommend if people aren’t fussed about being in old San Juan or Condado. There’s a nice cinema next door and a supermarket a few doors down.
