ハイアット ハウス サン ファン(Hyatt House San Juan)

On the first night of my arrival at the hotel, I encountered several issues. There was only one thin blanket provided for the sofa bed, and there were no fitted sheets, flat sheets, and extra pillows. I called the front desk several times and finally, a guy answered my call. The front desk asked me why I need extra blanket and sheets, and I explained that the room was cold, the sofa bed was not very clean and two persons needed to sleep on the sofa bed. The front desk told me that he was the only one present now and asked me to wait. Despite waiting for more than one hour and feeling very sleepy, I had to go down to the front desk again, only to find no one was there. After waiting for some time, the guy finally returned and looked annoyed. He gave me the sheets, but I found the sheets were damp when I unfolded them in the room. I had to go down to the front desk again and the guy told me that damp sheets are Hyatt Standard as they supposedly made it easier to cover the bed. I did not believe what he told me and insisted on getting new ones. Eventually, he reluctantly provided me with another new sheet which turned out to be very dry. Despite the unpleasant experience, the sofa bed was not comfortable. The quality of room service varied, with some days being clean and some days not. Additionally, the hotel's advertised swimming pool on ******* looks so beautiful, turned out to be a tiny outdoor pool. The breakfast ends at 9AM. Make sure to get up early during weekends.

Centrally located, clean, good breakfast and friendly staff. Shuttle was very handy and dependable.

Everything was great. The only thing that stood out was that the bathroom door in our room had a broken lock. It never really fully closed. But awesome hotel. Really calm and quiet.

hotel in the convention center district. Convenient to cruise port. Nice breakfast selection including custom omelettes. Hotel has a bar; bartender makes a great mojito. They do have a dinner menu but they were either out of items or it was pretty bland. All the ice machines were broken. Studio room was good size but musty smelling. Small pool but no bar service. Not a bad hotel,but overpriced for what it is

The staff was hospitable especially Norma . Always pleasant and charming giving us much recommendations . Will return again

We love the layout of this hotel. So comfortable! Nice workout room. Such a beautiful facility! 4 minutes from the cruiseport.

The hotel was good overall. Friendly and smooth check in. Housekeeping was fine, although they kept moving the AC to 65 so when came back to our room every day it was freezing. At least we were able to adjust the temperature on our own. It was great that they had breakfast included, but they don’t know how to keep the food hot, so the eggs, pancakes, French toast, etc were all lukewarm at best. Good that they also had yogurt, granola and fruit. Location was okay, but if we go again we would stay in either Dorado or Old San Juan. The shuttle service to from the hotel to those places was pretty reliable.

Upon arrival I noticed a friendly atmosphere. All employees were friendly. At check-in, the lady that took care of my requests, met my expectations. Checking-out I learned that the lady that did the check-in is Nivea “Millie” Rivera the hotel GM. I consider her an excellent GM. Most General Managers are home, enjoying the holiday’s.

The staff is very nice and accommodating. The room was very nice and was well maintained and organized. The bed was very soft and clean. Now for the bad stuff. One night I went to the bar and was excited about having dinner and attempted to order. The bartender advised me that he was the only one working and it would be hard for him to go and cook and bartend since they were short staffed. So I bought some super expensive chips and snacks in the lobby. In addition, one day I forgot to ask on my way out that I would like for my room to be cleaned. So I called the hotel and the phone rang for 38 minutes straight. After someone finally picked up, I asked them for the service they said they would put it on their list. They even confirmed my name and room number again. The gentleman stated it would be taken care of and not to worry. Later that evening when I arrived I found that they had somewhat been in the room by replacing the towels and taking the garbage but left the bed undone. I thought it was only a few more minutes since they were already there and they took the tip I had left. I guess I was mistaken. I contacted the front desk and they advised that they would make a note of it and the supervisor would contact me. The following morning there was no note of my issue and the supervisor was too busy to at least let me advise her if the circumstances. I believe that was unprofessional.
