Staff is really friendly and helpful but coyld be pretty slow especially bartenders Lot of exceptions to the all inclusive

I didn’t like that you weren’t able to get nothing to eat after 11pm. I didnt like that i paid for all inclusive and I’m able to get an adult beverage after 10pm unless i pay for it. They didn’t have many activities going on the resort. For the amount of money i paid to stay there could have been better.

We loved this resort so much! The food is amazing, it was so clean, and new! The staff was friendly and kind. Everyone we came across there even off the resort was kind. We absolutely loved our trip! Go fishing & snorkeling & go to secret beach! Worth it!

We had the most amazing stay at the Alaia! Our suite was large, beautifully furnished, and impeccably clean. The property is gorgeous with great amenities. The staff was the best we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with! Gonzalo, Elvis, Alex, Maria, Stacey, and Monica all went above and beyond for us and truly made our trip spectacular. We will be back again.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If you book excursions, try to avoid doing to through the concierge because it is much more expensive. The road to secret beach on a golf cart and jet skiing was a lot of fun. Snorkeling in Shark Alley was amazing. The area around was a bit rough but I never really felt in danger.

Have book a partial ocean view suite. Check into Alaia on a Saturday got my room keys went up to my room . Once got into the room did a walk around the room and notice issues with the room toilet wasn’t working, sliding door to the kitchen balcony had red tape inside to cover it up, refrigerator ice maker wasn’t working, the room balcony window that don’t move had air coming inside. Went downstairs to the front desk to let them know about the issues. They said we’re going to send someone from maintenance, the person from maintenance didn’t show up until Monday night. Maintenance came but only came to check the toilet. Maintenance told me that they didn’t tell them about the other issues. The Toilet stop working 5 minutes after they left. Went back down to front desk for the 2nd time to let them know I’m still have the same issues . They said they will send maintenance again. Tuesday came nobody showed up . Tuesday night went back to the front desk for the 3rd time to complain again. That’s when the general manager came out to talk to me . General manager came to my room with maintenance to check all the issues. Once maintenance was checking the sliding door lock he said to the general manager he knew the sliding door didn’t lock. So I felt like they didn’t care about my safety also didn’t care security. Maintenance came back after 8pm to fix all the issues. I didn’t enjoy the suite due to the issues I was having issue with the room . All 3 balcony’s had mosquitoes.

The Alaia resort was very nice and clean, but we felt the staff could have been more attentive. Booking through a third party felt like a hinderance and like we weren’t given the same experience as a result. It was a shame because the resort was great itself and was a very nice stay aside from this aspect.
